practice with shades don't be scared to make the shade above the left eye and the left side from the nose darker. it helps to look good to you're own face in the mirror. create shades with a light and try to draw it you'll learn a lot about shades and try to draw as many faces as you can. from photo's in magazines or you're friend sitting next to you smile
But you're drawing is a nice start!
