I blame my scanner for the head looking so smallish, i need to get a new scanner or something like it -_- it really doesn't look so small in rl.
Anyway, this took about three hours, hit and miss, making everything look just right and putting in all the details. I actually planned this one out, and I think it turned out alright...

- Love the eyes and the hair. Love the expression on her face. The proportion on the right shoulder is a bit off, the angle that is off as well. As far as backgrounds go, you could try doing something dark and stark, add some dramatic shadows to her face and body.
