Okay, I took this on a school trip to Italy in 2008. I thought it was pretty awsum the way I took it but that's my opinion not yours ^_^
Anyway, I thought it was pretty sad that they were constructing on it 'cause that means they were changing it from it's original state... I think.
So excusing the construction...things...Don't you think it's a great pic?

Well that's pretty perfect, I'd say.
The subject isn't smack dab in the middle.
It's on an angle. and the sun isn't glaring right at the viewer.
It's juust peaking out form the back to make the photo just that much more epic.
Hah. And of course the building is beautifulll.
