- Description: The Sphere is a large metallic sculpture by German sculptor Fritz Koenig, currently displayed in Batter Park, that once stood in the middle of Austin Tobin Plaza, the area between the World Trade center towers in Manhattan. Six months after the attacks, it was relocated to Battery Park on a temporary basis to be reconstructed. Its rededicated with an eternal flame as a memorial to the victims of 9/11. The reference photo you see; was before the attack of 9/11.

- This is considered a major attraction in New York because this was found with only some dents and holes on this particular sculpture when 9/11 happened.
