ACTUALLY, It was Ms. McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore waiting on Harry's street, then Hagrid rode up on his motorcycle, with Harry in his hands. Ms. McGonagall and Professor Dumbledore THEN took Harry out of Hagrid's arms and placed him gently on the doorstep.
