Tears streamed down her face as she shuffled through the hall. All the other children wore joyful light smiles, ecstatic for the weekend. The dull school hallways held nothing but boredom and strict teachers for the students and the school buzzed with laughter and loud chatter. Only one girl in the building was less than thrilled. Yes, she did want to leave the cruel children and the school behind but at the moment her life was nothing but pain and misery. The laughter that droned through the air was laughter at her and it was the same everyday. Middle school had always been savage and the children even worse. No one understood this timid, shy child and when children don't understand someone they attack. Mean taunts and sharp insults were slowly cutting through the soul of this girl and one day they would all pay for there cruelty.

Lightly she stepped out of the car. Her endless blond curls waved in the light breeze like a flowing golden stream. The sharp edge of a knife nudged gently inside her denim pocket reminding her of her task. She walked up to a tall brick building, remembering all the wrongs it had done to her in her youth. A menacing smile flitted across her pale lips as she stepped inside.
A large banner hung overhead as the heels of her black boots clicked on the tile.
“Welcome to the Class of 1990 Reunion!”
A crowd of people swarmed ahead in a mass of bodies and refreshments. But nothing could stop the rage that was building inside her lithe form. She grasped the handle of her blade as she approached the former students. In front of her was the back of a man by whom she recognized all to well. An earsplitting cry echoed of the rundown walls of the old school as the blade plunged deep into his back. The woman let rein an eerie cackle as blood trickled onto her hands. The man fell to the ground, spirting blood from his wound and clutching his chest. She choose her next victim as the people screamed in horror and ran for the exits.
Body after body fell to the ground until no one was left to kill. The pale floor was no longer a boring grey but a vibrant crimson. A nearby table was kicked over and she stalked over to wipe her knife on the splattered table cloth. The woman dusted off her tan blouse and said:
“You should have learned earlier.”
