• The new moon glistened on his silver pelt, making it gleam white. No one was around in the flat field. It was just him, and he was plotting a scheme. An evil scheme on the humans in the big, gray house half a mile away. They were supposed to be sleeping at this time, or so he thought.
He shook his furry head and galloped toward the house filled with the wolf hunters who killed his pack. Every single one of the wolves in his pack, besides him.

He went through an opened window on the second floor. It was easy getting up there, he just had to climb the tree and jump onto the roof to get in. No big deal.
Once he was inside, he saw a teenage boy's arm hanging on the side of the bed. He was, for sure, sleeping. The wolf could hear his steady breathing that would soon stop forever. Wolf hoped that the tapping of his nails on the wooden floor wouldn't wake the boy. He walked slowly toward the sleeping human and bared his snow white teeth. His jaws parted and put his mouth between the boy's arm. Without hesitation, Wolf chomped down and blood trickled down from the arm. The boy moved in his sleep, obviously bothered by the bite, but he didn't wake up.
Wolf moved to the other side of the bed and jumped up. Then, he bit down into the boy's neck, surly killing him. Wolf turned around, satisfied with his work and trotted out of the room.
The next room had the adults in it. The main reason why the wolf came. The male killed his whole pack. His family. A flame of anger appeared in Wolf. The male was first, then the female. Wolf hopped on the bed and bit down into the male's neck as hard as he could. He did the same with the female. Wolf jumped down and stared at them silently. He couldn't hear their soft breathing anymore, which was good. There was only one more person in the house and after he killed that person, his mission was accomplished.
Wolf suddenly heard footsteps behind him. He spun around and, staring at his black eyes, was a girl in a nightgown. That was the last person. Her. The little girl. She didn't seem miserable or sad or, anything; she only looked at him with a blank face.
She was unusually pale, Wolf saw. She smiled at him and he saw. . . fangs? Who was this person?
Finally, she spoke. "I know what you did and why you did it," she said to the wolf. "I would have, too, but it wasn't my species this family killed." Wolf just stared at her. "Do you know what I am?" she asked. The wolf wasn't supposed to like this girl. He pounced onto the girl and bit her arm, but her skin was hard and cold. He couldn't bite her.
"I'm a vampire. Just biting me won't kill me. I'm supposed to kill you, but I'm not. Why? Because I know how you are feeling. I have no family because of humans." Wolf backed away and continued to look at her. "I want to team up." The wolf thought and nodded. He knewexactly how she felt. "I hate humans as much as you do, and together, we can teach them a lesson." He was confused for a moment and the girl quickly knew what he was thinking. "I was living with humans undercover. To them, I was a poor orphan girl." She looked at him with her golden eyes. Wolf held up his paw and the girl's cold hand shook it.
