• Dear Diary,

tab Guess what? I still have no good news about my relations at school, and the days just seem to be getting longer and longer. I walk through the halls and I see him, want to hug him, only the arms around him aren't mine, their freakin' Elissa's!
So, whatever, I got my best friend to squeeze into Elissa's life, and hopefully she won't turn her back on me, but I asked her if she could get some of the inside scoop of Elissa's life. So far, my best friend, Zola, has managed to become a friend of Elissa's, as much to Zola's disgust, but she has not come up with a piece of evidence yet that Clove is being blackmailed. So, once again, hopefully not forever, I sit her waiting.

Anyways, there have been more things than just this fight with Elissa in my life, like the newspaper. When I was small, my parents and my friend's parents all agreed it would be much safer for their children (us) to live on a dead end, where none of us would really be in danger. We've all grown up on Crovington Blvd, but no one ever passes through, because, well, it's a dead end.
Zola, Patricia, Cloe, Alexandre, and me all live on Crovington Blvd. We've all lived their together since we were 4 or 5. Zola, Cloe, and me are the youngest. Patricia and Alexandre were about 6 or 7 when we were 4 or 5. We're all girls, and we're the only families that live up on Crovington Blvd, in those 5 large houses.
So, what was so wrong about the newspaper? It all started last week when our parents decided; Why spend all the extra money on individual papers, when we only had to spend money on one? So 4 of the houses dropped their weekly newspaper subscriptions, and all put in 20 cents for the next days paper. That very next day, at around 8 o'clock, a parent from each house rushed out to go get the newspaper, and those idiots finally found what was destined for this decision.
No one wanted to read the newspaper any later than now.
But there was only one newspaper. My friends all agree that our parents must be the village idiots. I mean, how much stupider can it get?! My father complains about getting the newspaper in the afternoon. Well just pay for your own freakin newspaper!
Seesh, what a stupid life I live. No wonder Elissa thinks she's better than me.

Anyways, Your probably wondering, Diary, who these dear people are that I've only mentioned in this entry to you. Zola, as I've told you, is my best friend, we met before Pre-K, and we've remained best friends since she threw an ice-cream in my face. It became my favorite kind.
Patricia is a shy friend, and she doesn't have to many friends because she's so shy, but oh my gosh she talks so much once she realizes your not dangerous. I doubt she'll be interested in a book filled with all of my secrets, but we'll see.
Cloe is my 2nd best friend. She's sarcastic and rude and everything people would normally hate if only she wasn't so damn funny. I love her (as a friend, totally!) and we met in 1st Grade when Zola and me had had a fight, and Cloe helped me plan my revenge. It consisted of a fight, which, we got in detention for about 3 weeks. The guys thought it was hot, Cloe started selling tickets for money from it. (She had been in 2nd Grade at the time...)
Now, Alexandre, she's one tough cookie to crumble. She was in the 3rd grade at the time when Zola and me had had the fight. And she's the kind of person, who, yes, I can explain in one sentence. She helped Cloe sell tickets for a third of the profit.

You might think that Alexandre and those guys might not like their given names. Well, then, your right. We actually call Alexandre: Ali (Ael-E), Zola: Zo, and Me: Cait (Kaet, there is no E-sound at the back).
tab The whole school is probably our friend, not so much the people inside of it. Those people are stuck-up, lying cry-babies that suck up to Elissa for popularity only. I mean seesh! You earn popularity, you don't beg for it! Personally, I've seen people lick the floor Elissa walks on. It's mostly the nerds, but, eh, you never know. My favorite, seriouse popular person would probably be Lorii. At least, she spells her name like that. Nobody really knows what her real name is. She hasn't let anyone see her test or homework papers, er, ever. I guess it's because she's the smartest girl in our grade, maybe even the school.
tab No one really understands how Lorii became popular, either. Some of the things we're clear of are:
    1. She's no suck-up
    2. Maybe Elissa likes her because of #1
    3. She's pretty
    4. She's nice
and 5. She ALWAYS smells good!

Weird, I know. Elissa and Lorii are best friends. Lorii and me are friends, too, but it really bugs me because Elissa is always calling Lorii "Lor". Can it GET ANY SHORTER than LORII?! I mean, seesh! I cut my name down to Cait, and Elissa just has to cut that down to 'K'. She calls me 'K'! It's unbelievable! Well, anyways, I only like Lorii because she's REALLY nice. Like, she'll give you a really good pen and never ask for it back, and she'll help you study before you even asked! Lorii and me are pretty good friends, though. Lorii has dirt blonde hair as well, and prefers it down most of the time, where as I like it up in a messy bun or pony-tail more often. Lorii's hair is so long, it reaches down almost to her thighs. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that, it's just that if she DID put it up in a pony-tail, it would compete with a REAL pony's tail.
tab The only problem is that Lorii does not get along too well with Alexandre and Cloe, and I don't really blame her, either. Their attitudes towards things are the exact opposite of Lorii's.

    1. They laugh mostly at, not with people
    2. Elissa hates them
    3. Their vile (not ugly, but their attitudes and what they talk about. In fact, they might be the prettiest girls I know)
    4. Their rude
    5. They couldn't care LESS what they smelt like

Alexandre and Cloe are the kinds of teens you'd expect to see beating kids up in the halls, which, they do. Their funny though, and nice to their friends. I'm not surprised I'm friends with all of them.
