- I was walking to the Vampire Meal's night club. It was cold, so slipping into my jacket I walked for another hour. When I finally got there, I wasn't disappointed. The party was at full blast, I knew I was going to have a good time. What I didn't know was that I was being followed. More to say stalked, and not for the usual reasons... He wanted more than what I could give him, but he could supply the rest... he knew that, and I didn't. After hours of relentless partying I decided it was time to go home, I left without anyone knowing. Well, almost everyone knowing. My stalker was about to make his move. He leaned against the brick wall outside when I passed by him, his hair blowing in the smallest of breezes. He was like another super star. Then his lips moved just the slightest of bits, I stopped. He spoke again. This time, he said my name. I was only aware of him and his eyes on me. He slowly pulled his hand up using one finger, wiggled his finger in a sign to come to him. I didn't move. He caught me. He knew it. I knew it. He smiled just the tiniest bit as he took one step towards my frozen body. He took another step that would place him behind me. He spoke in my ear this time, but all I could acknowledge was that he was behind me. "Your mine." He whispered. "It’s not just a relationship, I own you." I knew nothing about relationships, I had never had one so I thought it was just one of those things. He kissed my neck. It wasn't normal, and it kind of looked weird. But I didn't know he was intending to bite me, not until I felt the teeth come. I felt dizzy, very dizzy. The world spun out of control and it wasn’t painful, just hard to concentrate. Then I blacked out. I woke up after what felt like days. I opened my eyes to see everything but there was something wrong here. Plants couldn't get that big. Everything couldn't get that big. I looked around and I couldn't remember going anywhere. I didn't remember going anywhere. Standing up carefully, I saw a black room with curtains falling down on the floor. I felt the ground shift. I didn't think I was on the huge bed, it was farther down. I looked down just out of curiosity. It looked just like a hand. I followed it up. The arm to the body to... a face. The face. His black eyes staring me down. I froze again. His eyes had me. He was the person from the night club! Memories flooded back to me. The vampire night club, the kiss, blacking out. He wasn't a giant, I was small, he made me small and I didn't know what to say. Here I was, maybe two and a half inches tall, and here this teenage guy was holding me in his hand after he turned me into what ever I was. He took his other hand out of his pocket and made a pointed finger as he put his finger up to my cheek and stroked it. I was dizzy again, but more than that, I didn't have a clue who he was, where I was, or why I felt a sense of comfort in his presence. After many minutes of silence, I spoke softly. “Who are you, and where am I?” I whispered the last few words so quiet I wasn’t sure he heard them. He propped me up against his black pillow and sat himself upright, so I knew a story was coming. “I am sorry it had to have been you, and not some other girl. You fascinate me, not like anything I have felt before. I am Alex and you are in my room. I know this is confusing but it will take a while to get used to.” He said the words like I was handicapped, and I hated it. I loathed it. I could tell I wasn’t going to like this. Your right, you probably aren’t. But I would get comfortable. The next few centuries will come fast. I could feel shock cross my face as he grinned crookedly at me. He picked me up gingerly and placed me up on his leg. I just noticed what he was wearing for the first time, black jeans and an American Eagle shirt. Ah, what’s wrong? You seem angry or…confused. If I knew how to respond I would have but I didn’t who the question was coming from, or even how to respond. I just stared back into Alex’s black eyes, as he stared into mine meaningfully. He let out a sigh which to me had to be a tornado. “All you have to do is think back. It’s like a link which we are connected.” He waited as I stared into his black eyes. “Try it.” He urged. I sighed and closed my eyes. “You’re not really sorry for taking me are you?” The words came out in a rush, and I didn’t really mean to think them. After all he was the only one I could count on. I was about to take them back but he answered anyway. No, not really. Your mine, I told you at the night club. Even then we had a link; it was made when you were born. It isn’t just you anymore, it’s now us. You can’t do anything without me anymore. Try if you don’t believe me. I believed him. I couldn’t get anywhere or anything without him. He was the key to my survival. I looked down to see he moved me when I was lost in thought. We were still moving. I realized that it was morning and he was walking in the broad of daylight with me in his hand. I foolishly tried to hide myself but he was one step ahead. I still have to make an appearance at school. Stay still. No one can see you but me and my own kind. I really didn’t want to know what he meant but I asked anyway, trying to stay as still as possible. “Can they hear me or is it safe to talk out loud?” He seemed so mystified by something I said. I… I’m not sure… I know they can hear me… don’t try just in case. I just nodded to myself. The kids on the bus couldn’t seem to be silent for any amount of time, so when Alex and I walked on the bus and everything went quiet, I knew Alex wasn’t the popular one with the ton of friends who gossip and make out every night. I laughed at the thought of this boy who had everything painted black in his room having a girl friend. I wouldn’t be laughing, you’re my girl friend. I stopped laughing. That didn’t seem so far off base to him and me. What a terrible thought, and to make matters worse, I didn’t even know if I did like him. Actually all I knew was his name. The day passed by quickly with nothing to do. The teachers didn’t call on him, the people didn’t notice him, except for a few occasional girls who were juniors, but they didn’t talk to him. He was isolated from the rest of the world. He would ask a few random questions now and then but other than that we were silent. He asked me my favorite color, my favorite songs, my family, my friends, and other boring questions. I fell asleep after math and I didn’t wake up till we were at his home, or he would call it our home. I didn’t want to wake up anymore. I pretty much just wanted to sleep the rest of eternity away. Which I found was possible, since now I wasn’t aging, nor was he. His family was never there and I was beginning to doubt he had one. My dreams were filled with so many questions that I couldn’t answer so I woke up eventually. He sat on his bed with me lying on his chest. I didn’t see him because my vision was blurred from waking up. Tears brimmed over the edges as I yawned and stretched. I found that he was reading a history book between me and him. He heard me and placed the book aside before grinning down on me. “Comfortable?” I heard him say. I didn’t have a clue on what he was talking about till I looked down. He was shitless. With a blush I slid down on to the bed and stood there completely clueless on what I should say or do. One blush blending into another, as I tried to remember my own name. He sat up and propped himself up using his elbow. He had so hot abs. I mean, as much as I wanted to be joking, I was dead serious. His muscles didn’t even need flexing to show how pronounced they were. There were some things that I wasn’t going to get used to no many how many eternities I lived. Like him and his perfect features, how big everything was, and the link. It would scare me half to death whenever I heard him in my mind, just like then. Thank you. I jumped at the sound of his voice. Actually, mid jump, I tripped and went flying over the edge of the bed, my arms flailing as I tried to balance myself again. I could see the scared expression cross his face as gravity pulled me down. I fell slowly. The adreline slowed everything down. I could see the height of it. When I hit the ground I would surely die. The height had to hundreds of feet for me. I could see Alex, trying to catch me. I was almost to the wooden floor. The wind stung my face. It wasn’t anything like the movies, it looked peaceful then. I closed my eyes, preparing for the cold hard death that would soon swallow me. I looked up for the last time, for it was my last moment, I would want to see Alex’s face, even if it had shock on it, for the last moment. He wasn’t there. I felt my breath catch as I hit something hot but not hard. I saw something come up and ensnare me, trapping me. I heard my neck snap, and then I felt everything go red, as well as my vision. Then black. I was sure I died. I couldn’t remember anything. I remember falling. His face and… Alex not being there. I wanted so badly to open my eyes. I felt pressure on my whole body, like I was under water. After moments of trying, I finally forced my eyes open. I gazed up to see Alex. Actually, I only saw his face, he was just that close. His eyes looked so desperate. I didn’t know what to think. His lips were pushed into a hard line, like a frown. He was completely on me. His eyes seemed to glow when I started to get up, and his frown became more pronounced. He pushed me back down gently forcing me to lie down. I only gazed up at his face. He was still shirtless, so I knew I hadn’t been out for long. On the contrary, you’ve been out for nine or ten hours. I felt the shock cross my face, not from his voice, but the number. It felt much longer than that. “May I please get up?” I asked warily. He still had stress in his eyes, but a grin came upon his face. I sat up slowly, preparing for pain, but my body felt nothing. I sighed out of relief as I saw Alex’s slowly get closer. New distress came to his face. You’re not hurt are you? I was so scared. I couldn’t grab you and- “I am completely fine.” I said, my voice was even. “No broken bones?” He said, his voice was still anxious. I shook my head as a sign to show that it didn’t hurt. “May I check?” He asked, seeming slightly mollified. He didn’t wait for an answer. He picked me up swiftly and laid me down again. He stared with my face. He turned my face over and over. Then my arms and stomach. Which he rested his ear against my heart, but his ear took up almost all of me. Then he worked on my legs, which he had to lift up then down, twisting them in different directions, before he picked me back up kissed me softly on my head. I felt surprise work itself on my face. That was the first time he had kissed me. No, its not. His face looked sheepish. When you first fell asleep that night… I couldn’t help it. I have been kissing you every time you fall asleep, faint, or are lost in thought. It’s just the first one you have been conscious for. I know I was supposed to feel angry, but I didn’t, or couldn’t. He picked me up and set me on his shirtless chest. He laid down on his pillows as his eyes were still hooked on me. I laid down on my stomach and put my elbows up to support my head. He laughed at my position and scooped me up with one hand and brought me to his face. He kissed me again, but this time it was longer and had less urgency in it. I, the martyr I am, kissed back. He stopped to laugh at my weak effort and kissed harder. He laid me down on his shoulder. I snuggled into his shoulder blade and closed my eyes. I tried to sort through the confusing thoughts that clouded me. I loved him, truly loved him. I love you too. Much, much more than you love me. I shook my head at the impossibility of that. Would you like to go on at date? “One where you would be eating alone, or on the Ferris wheel without anyone? Sounds fun.” I said, my sarcasm was marred a bit by the idea of that. “No. My kind can see us. We could go back to the night club. Did you know you were the only human there?” Alex’s voice sounded sincere enough. “No. You must have left that part out. So is that why there where only boys there, even though it’s not an all boys night club?” There was no sarcasm in my voice, just honest to God curiosity. “Yeah.” Alex said. I got up and walked over to the edge of him and hade a position to jump for it, when a hand caught me and set me down on the edge of the bed. “We aren’t having repeats of the last near death experience are we?” He asked with heavy sarcasm. I just waited for him to get up. He stretched then pulled the curtains back. It was pitch black and the moon cut through the window onto the bed. He started to throw clothes onto the bed. They were way too small for him, so I figured they were mine. I walked over to get them but he threw me an evil grin before reaching in and taking out a black dress that had was backless and didn’t have one till my pant’s line, and a deep inline for the front. I was not going to wear that. Oh yes you are. “Make me.” I regretted the words as soon as they were out of my mouth. “That can be arranged.” He purred. I was prepared to dive again, but as soon as I was in a crouching position, his hand grabbed me. “I can put it on myself! I swear I can!” I yelled at him. “No. I’m pretty sure you can’t. Just the same, I am always here to help.” He said again in a purr. I wiggled and twisted against the strong hand that held me. He started to pull lightly on my shirt as I pulled down with all my strength. He wouldn’t have that. He took my arms between his two fingers and hung me there while, with his other hand, he slowly took my shirt off. My blush became more and more pronounced as he reached for my jeans. He carefully unbuttoned them and unzipped it, and slid them off too as I wiggled to keep them on. Somehow my wiggling worked and he couldn’t get them off. He sighed as he set me down and ran down stairs to get something. I took evasive action and ran everywhere on the bed searching for clothes. After a good minute he came back with ‘super tape’. He reached for me again as I ran back and forth. He grabbed me on the first try and duck taped my hands to the bed, and then my body. He started where he left off. Slowly tugging off my jeans as I lay there helpless, Alex moved up and felt around my waist. I could tell he didn’t want to put the dress on now. This dress is such a waste. I work so hard to make you helpless. Then I have to save you just like always. Well the party doesn’t start for another hour or so… Thank God for super tape. I could almost here his shrugging in my mind. I knew what that meant all too well. I fought uselessly against the tape as his finger slowly crawled up and down me. He didn’t do anything inappropriate, just tortured me. When his fingers became too tired to do the job, he kissed me. Using his tongue was one of his favorites. After an hour of tongue torture, he decided against his better judgment to let me go. He slowly put on the dress, and after a second check, he pulled me down into a sitting position, pulled out tweezers and did my hair. I was lost in thought the whole time. Sometimes he would randomly bend down and kiss me, but other than that, there was no communication. Link or no link, I knew he was concentrating on everything I thought. I was so lost in thought that I didn’t notice we were already driving in the car. It was so easy to become unfocused now. I couldn’t stop thinking about what just happened. I liked and that fact scared me right there. But the fact that all I knew was his name, even though I trusted him so much… Hello? Are you there? I looked up to see Alex smiling at me. The night clubs lights flashed. The party lasted about five hours. I would be standing with other girls like me and Alex would grab me and show me off to the guys. They liked to touch me. I would try to shake them off, but Alex would scold me if I did. I was so happy. The first date couldn’t get any better. But it sure could get worse, but at our home. The party wore me out so much that I fell asleep on Alex’s lap in the car. I could feel him stroking my hair when I drifted off to sleep. When I woke up it was eight in the morning. Not too early, but what I found was unpleasant. I was naked! With shock I ran to grab my pajamas that were on Alex’s night stand. Alex. My voice rang with so much fury that Alex jumped up out of his perfect slumber. I raced to get my pajamas on before he could actually gain enough consciousness to stop me. I was almost there when he grabbed me and took it back off. I struggled against his hold as he cuddled me closer to him and his shirtless chest. I growled and nearly screamed at him. “Alex, I will give you three God D*** seconds to get off me before I-“ Alex didn’t want to and that was clear. Before you what my little doll? Start wiggling? Heaven forbid you start wiggling! He kissed me again before snuggling me against his chest again. “What did you just call me?” I asked. My voice was practically a screech. You’re my little doll. Why? What else are you? To us that is all you are. Before anger could come over me, sadness washed me out. I felt wetness form at my eyes. I couldn’t let this monster do this to me. He was a master at trickery. The truth came out here. I knew true love was only heard in stories. I didn’t mean it like that. You know I still love you… I didn’t here him. I wiggled my way out of his hands and put my pajamas back on. Ridiculous. I slid down the side of the bed and stared my way to the door. I saw his run up to me but I didn’t care. He used his finger to turn me in his direction. That was the first time he saw me angry. Tears flowed down my small face. Hate burned in my eyes. “Don’t go. You know I didn’t mean that.” His voice was only a soft whisper. No. I don’t know. I know love, and I know when love is formed into abuse. Suicide is what happens. See you in the after life. My voice leaked over with acid. His eyes filled with hurt as he watched me face down the hall, and disappear into the hazy morning. I walked a good distance away from his house. It was night when I stopped. I wanted it to be thorough. I would have no energy to save myself after I jumped off the tree. I found a short tree. I climbed it until midnight. When it was completely dark, I prepared myself. I prayed for my family’s safety, that my friends never meet or are hurt by Alex, that Alex has a change in heart, and his safety for eternity. I breathed in my last as I jumped. The jump was much faster. I could think clearer then, but I wouldn’t have done anything different. A flash blurred my vision. I felt warm. Not blood warm, just warmth. I was shocked. I was sure heaven wasn’t going to keep me small forever. I wasn’t made to be like this. Heaven wasn’t this dark either. I blinked and looked up. Alex. “You know. It’s kind of funny. I had a change in heart.” He grinned flashing his perfect teeth. My slow mind tried to process this. Love is powerful. PM and comment if you want me to write the rest! heart
