• Luminita lay frozen in her bed. Her eyes didn't blink or move from the silhouette. As she stared at the person, her mind ran through all logical reasons; it was a dream, it was her mom or Dustin, but none of them fit. After a few moments of complete paralysis, she tightly shut her eyes, hoping she was just going crazy and seeing hallucinations. Slowly, she opened her eyes and could feel herself thinking again, the silhouette had disappeared.

Good. Whoever that was, they really scared the bej-- her mind now froze and the hair on the back of her neck stood up; someone was breathing on her neck. She closed her eyes and prayed whomever it was wouldn't kill her."Told you I don't bite." Once the sentence was finished, her eyes snapped open, recognizing the voice."What the hell are you doing in my bedroom?" she asked quietly, trying to think of a reason."I never got to properly say 'goodnight'." she rolled over to face him, dragging the covers wrapped around her body with.

He smirked slightly as his eyes looked her expression over. She bit her lower lip lightly, barely able to think of anything to say, let alone speak. Tavian sat up, now sitting on her bed and examining her. Luminita still had her words caught and tangled up in her throat as her eyes slowly followed him as he sat up. He paused for a moment before he spoke,"Goodnight." he whispered quietly. She nodded slightly as she fumbled around for something to say that wasn't more than two syllables,"Night."

As she watched him, he stood up and made his way over to her one window, not bothering to hold back on his speed,"By the way, you should start locking your windows at night. It'd be a shame if someone snuck in and slaughtered you while you slept." Before she could think of something snappy to say back, he was already gone.

Luminita rolled onto her back and stared at the ceiling, trying to process the last few minutes in her mind. Even as a vampire, she found it difficult to comprehend the whole event. Hopefully she could process it later, for now she just closed her eyes and went to sleep.

The next morning, it was the same process as the previous day. She woke up to Dustin's lovely voice, fell onto the floor, and got dressed. As she changed into a black camisole and then threw a purple one on top, she began to try processing the events again. For a while it hadn't made sense, and it still didn't. With an exasperated sigh, she threw on some jeans and her Vans. Walking downstairs, she heard Dustin yelling at her mom about something ridiculous. She stormed into the kitchen, not entirely sure what to expect.

Dustin was sitting at the table and yelling, her mom was yelling back and throwing her hands in the air. Luminita simply walked past them and dug through the fridge, pulling out the first thing she had her eyes on, an apple. She walked over to the sink and washed it off, then polished it with her sweatshirt sleeve that was on the counter. As she spun around and bit into the apple, she noticed something fly by her head."Don't throw things at her!""Why?! It's not like she does anything around here!"

Luminita looked over her shoulder and realized that he had thrown a knife at her. She practically ran out of the kitchen and into the living room. Her hands were immediately on her messenger bag that she threw over her shoulder. As she did so, she realized that she had a tear falling down her face. She immediately wiped it off with the back of her hand. Once her bag was over her shoulder, she walked quickly out the door with her apple in her hand.

It was warmer than yesterday, but still pretty cool out. Most people tended to stare at her when she wore tank tops on cold days, but the temperature didn't bother her unless it was warm out. She silently nibbled at her apple, trying to comprehend what had happened earlier that morning and the night before. One thing was certain, her life never appeared to be dull. If she wasn't having steak knives thrown at her head, she had the school's new vampire in her bed for unkown reasons. Instead of dwelling on that for the moment, she just focused on getting to school.

She threw the remainder of her apple into the street and headed inside. Immediately, she headed to her locker, hands shaking slightly. As she fumbled around with different books in her hands, she noticed someone standing next to her."Would you stop appearing out of nowhere, already?! It's starting to get kinda--" she looked over and noticed Miss Hartman standing next to her. As a result, her face immediately flushed,"Oh, sorry. I thought you were someone else..." her teacher nodded and smiled,"It's alright." For a moment, Luminita just stood there until she thought of something to say,"Did you need something?" her teacher nodded again,"Yes, actually. Marty doesn't seem to be getting anything done with Tavian sitting next to her... Is it alright if I moved him next to you?"

What?! No!! It's not like Marty got anything done in the first place! Don't move Mr. Romanian stalker next to me!! Luminita kept her eyes closed as the thoguht ran through her mind, attempting to use her better judgement and not say it. Eventually, she nodded as she opened her eyes,"Not a problem.""Ok. I was just checking to make sure it was alright." As the teacher walked away, Luminita shut her locker and banged her head against it like the previous day.

Eventually, she gathered herself together and walked away from her locker. Once she entered the science room, she sat down at the table, Tavian was already seated next to her. As she sat down and began examining him with her pale eyes, he seemed to completely ignore her. When she sat down, she heard a very peculiar ringing in her ears. She closed her eyes to try to get rid of the sound, but it wouldn't disappate. Her eyes opened after a bit, and she saw blinding, flashing lights. Quickly, she began to think about what it could be, but then she blacked out.
