    Chapter One: The Sneaky Return
on a dark night a young man was jolting down an alleyway. he was going faster than a bullet. through the mere light you could tell by his face that he was about 16 or 17.He wore a black shirt with flames, a black jacket, black pants, two crimson red gloves, and some plain, black tennis shoes, and wore a pair of sapphire-blue tinted shades. He began to think back, to when he had a normal life. He had a lot of friends, a good High School, and a nice family. Nowadays, he had been isolated from most of his friends, he lived with only his sister, and had to quit school because of circumstances. He also had to take into account he had a chance of dying tonight. Then, when he was done feeling sorry for himself, he turned to spot his pursuer, a man shrouded in black. The boy turned into an alley, and his pursuer followed his every step. As he journeyed farther into the alley, he noticed he had come to a dead end.

“This is not good!” The boy thought to himself as he turned to face this man, whom he had been desperately trying to get away from.

He began to think back to what got him into this mess in the first place. About six months ago, he was eavesdropping on a very famous martial artist, although the boy was unaware of that. The Martial Artist had blonde hair combed straight in front, green eyes , a plain white t-shirt, blue jeans, and green & black Nikes.

As it turned out, this man was ripping off local townspeople, stealing everything they had. When Mora saw him, he was beating a poor old man to death. He hadn’t been clarified as a wanted man yet. As soon as he discovered he had been followed, he chased the boy until he escaped. After that, the boy had a price on his head.

“Time to fight!” The boy yells, as he pulls out a rusty sword. Just as his fate grew thin, the boy’s assassin fell to the ground.

“Wait, what just happened?” The boy wondered. After a moment, a third figure took the place of his pursuer.

“It can’t be… Rhapsodos?” The boy seemed to recognize the attacker who eliminated his pursuer.

“Hello, Mora , what have you been up to?” Replied Rhapsodos, with a grin, as he puts his dagger away, which is the weapon he struck the assailant down with. Mora looked Rhapsodos over, he was just as Mora remembered. He wore black jeans, a black hoodie with the hood up, longish brown hair, and glasses. Mora then saw a chain at Rhapsodos’ side, which must have been the chain wallet he always carried around. Mora’s smile was soon gone, as he took a few steps forward.

“Hey, man, what took you so long? You were late, as usual!” Mora replied, with sweat all over his face, panting from exhaustion.

“Hey, come on, I think you should be a little more grateful! If it weren’t for me, you would probably be dead!” Rhapsodos was yelling his statement at Mora.

“Okay, whatever, don’t you think we should get out of here before more of them show up? We need to go back. I need to make sure everything is okay at home. This is a dead end, right?” Mora asked Rhapsodos.

“Ha-ha, have you forgotten our powers?” Rhapsodos asked back. He then looked at the wall, pointed his hand at it, let out a yell, and released a powerful blast of fire.

“Oh, yeah, I remember!” Mora then looked down.

“Hey, do you think he’ll wake back up?” He asked, staring at the dead man. Rhapsodos looked down and shrugged.

“Trust me, he won’t, which is why we should be leaving!” Rhapsodos ran out of the alley, through the exit he had just made. As he left, he thought of how he ended up getting mixed up in Mora’s mess. They had been friends for awhile, so when Mora summoned him, he couldn’t just say no. He would never desert Mora, even though he always thought he was better than Mora at everything.

Good point, Mora thought to himself, as he followed his friend out of the alley. They ventured on for awhile, until they turned onto a street. This was the road Mora lived on. It was now around 5:00 a.m., and Mora, along with Rhapsodos, was glad to finally be able to stop running, and take a break.

Mora opened his door, and him and Rhapsodos went inside. As they went up the stairs, Rhapsodos noticed something very peculiar.

“Hey, Mora, with all due respect, where is everybody?” He asked, looking around the empty house.

“Wow, we must really not have met in awhile. I live here alone with my sister. Her room’s upstairs,” Mora replied, with a grin.

“Oh, yeah, your little sister. So, how is Yuuka?” Rhapsodos asked, not noticing how tired Mora was getting of all of the needless questions.

In her room, Yuuka was laying in her bed, worried about her brother. She suddenly heard someone outside of her door. She then got scared, and closed her eyes, wondering what would happen. She let out a low squeal as the door opened.
“Hey, Yuuka, are you in here?” Mora asked, looking around.

Yuuka then came out of her hiding spot, and ran to her brother.

“Hey, Mora, you’re back! Why can’t you spend one night at home, where it’s safe?!!” She scolded her brother.

“I have my reasons. Here, this is for you, take it!” He grinned, as he gave her a package. From Mora, your dedicated brother. She opened the box to find an elegant bracelet.

“Wow, it’s beautiful! Thank you!” Yuuka said with gratitude, then noticed Rhapsodos standing behind Mora.

“Oh, and I brought an old friend with me!” Mora said, referring to Rhapsodos, who stepped in front of him.

“Hi, Yuuka, remember me? How have you been?” Rhapsodos asked her. He remembered her every detail about her. Yuuka was a short, petite girl who dressed in many different Gothic Lolita dresses. Usually, she'd dress in a black dress with lots of white laces and long sleeves. She wore long black stockings and black and white platform dress shoes. She had dark hazel eyes, and her dark brown hair reached her shoulders. Her bangs curled under her chin, too.

“Hi, Rhapsodos. I remember you. You and Mora used to be best friends, and you would always hang with him. I have been better than ever. I wish my big brother would stop getting into so much trouble!” Yuuka was not letting Mora get off easily this time. She was always afraid he would one day do something that would get him killed.

A moment later, a light flashed from outside. Mora was apparently not expecting anyone, because he ducked in the blink of an eye, and yelled a warning into the air.

“Get down!” Rhapsodos followed this warning, but Yuuka stayed in her exact location.

“Mora, it’s okay,” Yuuka said, sounding cheerful as ever.
“That is our neighbor, Rin. She’s very beautiful. Would you like to meet her?” Yuuka asked her brother, who was blushing red from head to toe.

“Yeah, sure, I would love to meet her. But what is she doing up so late at night?” Mora asked, scratching his head.

“Late? It’s almost 6:00 in the morning. Just how long were you out last night?” Yuuka asked him, with a giggle. The door was then kicked open.

“AHHHH!” Yuuka screamed. The intruder drew his sword and charged at Mora. He tried to slice Mora in half, but the teen’s speed proved to be too much for the new assassin.

“Do you know him, too?” Mora asked Yuuka, paying no attention to this man that wished to kill him. Yuuka shook her head, too frightened to speak. So then, Mora drew his sword and struck the swordsman down with a quick thrust.

“HAAAAAH!” Mora released a blast of fire, and then there was no trace of intrusion. He then walked to the front door, walked outside, and turned to grin at Rhapsodos and Yuuka, who were following closely behind him.

“Hey, are you guys coming too?” He asked, looking back.
