- I could see her even in the darkness of my room. She had golden brown blonde hair, with an angel white perfectly tied bow in it. Her dress and shoes also angel white that is until she turned around. I wanted to touch her as she walked in front of me. I wanted to tap her on the shoulder and ask her what she was doing in my house. She got to the stairs of my bunk bed first. Then she turned to face me. She tried to hide nothing of her state. Her eyeballs were missing and dried blood dripped from her sockets like big fat disgusting tears. Her dress was ruined in the front. Her shoes that had little bows on them had little droplets of blood. I guess I should have ran away screaming being that I was only five. I didn’t though I looked at her till she disappeared. I shook my head in disbelief for there were no remnants of her. I climbed the ladder and went to bed as if nothing happened. As if I had saw nothing. Yet on that day at the ripe age of five I had seen every last bit of every thing. The saddest part was that I all but forgot about her. She was my height. Her golden brown blonde hair matched mine and the length was no different either. She had the same skin tone as me. Her lips were shaped, colored, and sized like mine. I saw myself in a way no one else could and yet I had no idea. I didn’t know who she was. I didn’t have any idea why she appeared to me. I dreamt of her but could not speak of her. I saw her when I closed my eyes but did not talk to her. Then everything stopped. She was everything for about a month and then she was nothing again. Like I had never known her and yet we were still meant to meet. I knew nothing of her at least not until five years later…
