Chapter 5
Meanwhile, many miles below Pequeño, sat a statue long forgotten by Glawdor.
Or at least, it looked like a statue. It was the Dragoon King, Aavair; petrified in stone by the two heroes a long time ago.
A fire demon enters in the forgotten place to rob of any treasure within the strange place.
"How come no one has ever seen this place? It's dark, and filled with evil. Why is it no demon has come near here?"
He found the Dragoon King, standing in the middle of the room.
"Is this... A Dragoon?! They died out a long time ago! Why would their be a Dragoon statue still existing?"
Suddenly, the statue shook and vibrated. The stone began to crack. The room shook as much as the statue did.
"What is going on?!"
A scaly hand bursted forth from the statue. It began to tear at the stone that held its body prisoner. When it finally freed itself, there stood the Dragoon King, alive.
With a deep and horrifying voice, it commanded, "Demon, where are I? Speak, fool!!!"
But the demon was shaking in fear.
There shouldn't be a Dragoon alive... why is this one still alive?!"
"Worm, what is your name?"
"HOW DARE YOU CALL ME WORM!!!" the fire demon cried
He jumped towards the Dragoon King and threw a nasty fire bomb at him. Aavair simply brushed the bomb away with just his finger.
He... he reflected my attack?! How?! Maybe because he's part Dragon. I'll just throw something else.
The fire demon pulled out his bow and arrows out. The arrows were made of water and ice, for enemies strong against his flames. He set the arrow up and fired at Aavair. Aavair also swiped the arrow away, like he was toying with the demon.
"Are you finished yet, weakling? Then let me show you an example of my power."
With a flick of his wrist, a thunder ball appeared in the Dragoon King's hand. The ball was no bigger than the actual hand itself, but the fire demon knew better than the underestimate this foe. He shot it at the demon at a speed the demon could not avoid.
The shock was powerful enough to kill him there, but somehow, Aavair didn't.
"Demon; I will ask again, what is your name?"
"*HACK*... S-Spark sir... *HACK*. W-why d-do you w-want t-to know m-my name? *HACK*"
The Dragoon King walked up to Spark and healed him.
"I feel that you are not at full strength. Tell me, will you join me? I am after a child of Elf and Human."
"Sir, why is that?"
"If I kill them, then I will be able to rule this world. That child is the reason why I'm not ruling it now."
"What do you got against them?"
"An Elf and a Human trapped me in this prison, and predicted that only a Huven would be able to break me free. The child will also imprison me again if I do not kill them. What year is it? I must know how long I've been trapped."
Spark answered him.
"I'VE BEEN STUCK FOR TWO HUNDRED YEARS?!"
"It looks that way, master. But if I am to serve you, might I know who I am working for?"
"Yes, that does make sense. I am Aavair, the Dragoon King. Now, I must know who the child is. Come forth, my slaves of darkness!"
The shadows on the floor arose and formed bat-like figures.
"I want you to find the child of both Human and Elf. When you do, kill them."
The monsters floated out of the grave and towards the surface.
The only way to the surface was the one that Spark had made while traveling towards the tomb, in the Demon lands. They sprung from beneath and flew off to obey their master's command.
