Once upon a time there was a very very VERY VERY VERY scary dragon. He was so scary, he breathed invisible fire and his wings were made of bricks. His claws were ingeniously crafted of many colorful bendy straws and his eyes, oh his eyes, his eyes were bottomless, literally. If you bade him to lie on his back and dropped a pebble into his eye, you would never be able to hear the clink or thunk or ting as it hit the bottom. He was a very scary dragon indeed. However, he had one problem. His parents apparently did not know that he was going to be so fierce so as a young dragoonling, they named him PaperCutter, as a joke.
In dragon society, names are very important. Although dragons are known to be wishy washy and indecisive, they are very stubborn and firm when it comes to names. They believe that your name sets out your life. For instance, if you were named BigFierceFighter, then you would become a big fierce fighter. If your name was GentleHero, then you would become a gentle hero, saving many. Or so they thought. And because they all thought it and believed it with every blood cell in their body, it was so.
So this was a very problematic dilemma for young PaperCutter. When he turned 2 years old, on his passage-into-maturity ceremony, the mayor of the dragon society gave him a job as a paper cutter in a local factory and smiled wide, showing all of his pencil teeth (literally, they were pencils), expecting PaperCutter to be pleased. Of course, frustrated and humiliated, PaperCutter turned a very interesting shade of Tan-Green-Purple and he screamed “IIIII RREFFFUUUUUUUUUUSSEE!!!!!!!!” and with big whoosh, he set everybody on invisible fire and tickled them to death.
Flying away as fast as he could, PaperCutter sat down on a nearby mountain and cried, his big dragon tears flooding a few countries down below (Noah’s Flood). Then, thinking of his stupid joking parents and the humiliation of his name, invisible fire came out of his nose, though he tried to keep most of it in ( Pompeii ). Feeling very depressed and sad, PaperCutter injected some heroin and died…..
