“Sonuvabitch!” John yelled. “Get the ******** out of my way before you get yourselves killed!” He forced his way through the crowd of terrified policemen. “Anita and her zombies are too damned strong!”
The wave hit with a thundering crack of gunfire.
As men and women of the badge fell to the marauding horde, the vadun priest yelled in desperation:
“With salt I bind the to your grave!
With steel I chain you to your grave !
With power I compel you to rise no more!”
His vision darkened as the rush of magic flew from his invocation through the mass. His knees thumped the ground. Screams echoed through his ears as his head impacted the ground.
How did it come to this, you wonder? Do you even want to know? The story of my life is not for the faint of heart…
