We sat and watched the sunset. The grass was getting cold and the air was humid. A mighty ocean of fire, rolled across the sky. It burned the clouds away, in the evening.
At our feet the city lights were lit, in the approaching dark. You started humming. A melancholic tune. A gentle wind moved around my neck. I looked at you, and you smiled. Shadows were dancing in your eyes. For a moment you looked different.
You leaned towards me. I felt your whisper.
"Something horrible just happened", you said quietly and smiled.
I guess i looked confused.
"Look...", you pointed at the horizon "The sun just died".
