It was ten at night, the weather out side her window was the same as always. Dark, gloomy, and pourring buckets of rain. But it was quiet. No loud music, no drunk dudes and girls, no puke. Just blessid silence. The one benefit living in a very strick apartment building. With a sigh, Gale settled down in her comforter and pillows on her fold out futon and smiled as the rain increased on the glass. She had abandoned any hope of living in a dorm with the rest of the college population. She didn't like room mates, she liked livign alone, there was no havign to deal with bitchy room mates. It was just her and her kitty, Isis, who was currently curled up on the small of her back purring. Yup just another calm, quiet, peacful CRASH! THUMP! BANG! "UAAGH!" Shooting up in her bed she felt bad for her cat for only half a second before her gaze landed on her open windows, allowing the bitter night air and rain to come in, then her gaze went to the man laying in a crumpled heap on her floor. First things first! She ordered herself. Jumping out of bed she stormed over to her windows and fought the doubble paned window closed, blocking the wind and rain from enterring again. Okay, now for the dude. Turning she stared down at the guy dressed in black laying on her floor. "Um, sir? Are you alright?" She questioned hesitantly. He didn't respond, only flipped onto his back withan anguished groan. Obviously he was in pain. kneeling down she used her hands to check his carefully for wounds. He groaned, turned his head and fell silent as she studied his face. He was dressed head to toe as a ninja. The authenticity of the outfit made her think he was a fanatic, or at least a man of some historical knowlege.
He seemed to be bleeding from a large cut from the left base side of his rib cage to the top of his right shoulder, and obviously he had lost a lot of blood. "Sir you have to stay consious. We need to move you to my living room. I can treat you there, you really need to move. At least help me get you up." She pleaded with him. if he lost consious in her room she would never be able to stop the bleeding, and he would bleed all over her floor. He groaned and shifted, as if he were trying to sit up. Quickly she threw his arm over her shoulder and fought with his weight to help him stand. With a few grunts and curses on both their parts and a few meowed complaints from Isis, they managed to manover down the hall and she none to gently allowed him to collapsed with a grunt of pain onto the couch. "I'm sorry, but I have to get you out of your shirt. It's ruined any way, and your chest needs bandaging." She pleaded, sounding like she was pleading with a child than a man, and a ninja. He grunted again. Taking this as an "Okay" from the masked man, she carefully, as carefully as she could in the dark, ripped the shirt in two and threw in open.
