• He pulled on his black trench-coat and stared blankly at the wall, running a thought through his head thoroughly. Kurage sighed promptly and walked quickly to his front door. He took one glance back into his apartment before heading out the door, closing it tightly behind himself. His trip down the hall and two flights of stairs was brief he made it outside only to find that misfortune had found him once again. Oh how he hated the rain, all to often did it remind him of her skin; her eyes.

He shook his head and took the back alley. The rain still fell, just less would hit him in the back ways, so of course he'd take the easy way out. It'd taken quite a while, the chalk outline had been slightly washed away by the rain. He stared, the thought that her life meant nothing to anyone, that soon she would be a memory of a person no one knew. He gritted his teeth and forced his eyes away, oh how the guilt hurt, why did I have to have a soul? he cursed.

He made his way to the morgue where they had most likely taken her. Time had passed too quickly it was already three in the morning. He had taken too much time to sneak inside and find the correct room. He checked each drawer, sliding out each platform. Each one showing a new face, a story unheard unknown to the rest of the world, the thought made him shiver.

A soft scratching sound began to reside in the room, the a sound of scratches against a type of fabric. He pushed the last slide in slowly and closed the door back before he turned around. His back hit the metal hard, a dent imprint of the shape of his shoulders pushed into the metal. He cracked a hiss, his clawed hands gripping onto a smaller tensed wrist leading up to a clawed hand around his throat. He struggled to breath and gasped deeply, the hand constricting around his windpipe.

His vision was blurred and he began to become dizzy, as he struggled to see his vision adjusted. The owner of the hand was a short female, skin purple like a lavender flower. Horns ringed looping outwards from her forehead, a razored tail swaying side to side behind her. Eyes glowing white with dry blood down her neck with tattered clothing draped over her exposed skin. Kurage could he nothing but stare back into the eyes, his feet kicking off the floor.

The female tilted her head and smirked deadly, "Do you..do you feel alive Kurage?" He winced one of his eyes closing. She frowned slowly and glared at him with a glance to kill. "Well...I don't Kurage...I feel dead inside!" she pulled him off the wall and smashed him against it once roughly, ripping the shoulders of his coat. He cried out, trembling unable to draw in enough breath.

A low growl came from her throat and she loosened her grip around his throat, "Why'd you come here vampire?" Kurage drew in a breath deeply and coughed.

"F-for forgiveness..to r-right my wrong.." Mavir laughed shrewdly and tightened her hand around his sore throat once again, pushing him against the wall. "To right? Here is redemption..for the wrong that which has fallen upon us..this is, The End." She glanced over at the open window Kurage had climbed in from, the sun was slowly but surely approaching. A beam of pure light hit Kurage's leg, it slowly smoked before a flame ignited. Tears swelled in his eyes as his legs began to crumble and fall a part as ashes.

He gasp loudly as Mavir turned into the light, his back burst into flames and to the floor he fell in ashes. She blew what was left of him off her hands before reaching out towards the light. It hurt at first but the pain became numb as her arms began to blow away in the morning breeze. "Good-Bye Beautiful Day...farewell to the beginning...of the end..." She smiled softly, and stepped toward the window, her body reducing to ash before her eyes. She smiled upon the light once more before closing her eyes, the morning breeze carrying her soul to a warm, peaceful place..
