• Ben 10 Alien Force: You’re Never Alone

    Introduction

    Ben walked alone among the streets. I always feel like I’m being watched. Snap out of it! Ever since Ben had told Gwen and Kevin about his 12 year-old sister Jen, he couldn’t get over it. What have I done? I so need to get over this.



    As Ben walked, it was too silent for anybody to not be following him. All of a sudden, he heard the patter of shoes tapping the asphalt. “Who’s there?” All of a sudden he heard a sharp reply, “ Settle down, stupid! You act like something’s gonna jump out at you! Am I right?” It was I, Jen Tennyson. “I guess,” Ben replied,” but that doesn’t get to the point.” Ben sighed, and finished, “I just didn’t want to be made fun of by you-know-who.” he paused, glancing over his shoulder at Kevin, who was still tickled by the fact that Ben even had a sister. “Oh, don’t listen to that dim-witted jerk. He doesn’t know what he’s laughing about. Why even bother being worried from that freak!” Ben smiled; my compliment about Kevin had humored him. Now he couldn’t help but laughing. “Ben, just know you are never alone. I’ll always be at your back to fight and defend no matter what.”



    Chapter 2

    What I had said had struck him like an arrow through the heart. Tears filled his eyes at the fact that I really cared about him. I said with shock, “Dude, you okay?” Ben replied, “Yeah, I’m fine. You’re very sharp with words. Maybe you should go teach him a lesson!” Ben then again glanced back at Kevin, who had finally shut up. “He’s very quiet. It’s probably because he’s talkin’ about me to Gwen. Oh, Ben, I need to tell you something.” Ben froze. “W-what?” he stuttered.
    “I have a crush on this guy! Do you know Nick? He is the most POPULAR guy in school and he has a crush on me!” Ben was shocked. “Really? Isn’t he 13?” “Yes, but he’s only one year older, nothing much. He’s got a scar just like I do!” Ben remembered my scar. He never knew where it came from; only that it gave me the energy of lightning, almost like Gwen’s power with mana, natural energy from living things. I has a sort of… uh, bolt energy, shooting globes filled with a million watts of electricity like a hundred shocks of lightning. Jen doesn’t realize how powerful she is. She can shoot lightning from her very hands! i wonder what’s gonna happen next!

    Chapter 3

    The next day, I had swallowed her fear and walked up to Nick, saying, “It’s nice being your girlfriend.” Gwen was listening to the conversation the whole time. She was getting me from school to get a ride home in Kevin’s car. Ben was listening also for he had been riding in Kevin’s car, too. Ben overheard the conversation of what Gwen was talking to me about. “ Is that your boyfriend, Jen?” I replied, “Yes. Isn’t he the sweetest?” Gwen said to me, ”You should totally go out with him.” I replied with shock, “How can I ask him out? I’m too afraid to!” “Hurry,” Gwen said, “Before he leaves.” Gwen shoved me toward Nick and Nick had replied, “Hey, Jen. Back so soon?” I stuttered, “Uh, yeah… here I am! Heh…” I glanced back at Gwen, who gestured me to go on. “ Uh, I was wondering if…” I broke off when Nick replied, “If what, Jen?” JI finished, “If you could come to the pier with me …” Gwen whispered to me, “Tonight.” I swallowed, and finished, “Tonight?” Nick looked pleased and said, “I’d be glad to, Jen.” Gwen told Nick, “ We’ll come around seven.” Nick replied smoothly, “All right. Seven it is. I’ll be there. Bye, Jennifer.” Nick walked away. “He called me Jennifer! I can’t wait to go to the pier!”

    Chapter 4
    I had been waiting for the night patiently and silently. I had been waiting since 4:30 for Nick to arrive. I waited with anticipation as the car was heading straight for the driveway. I got in the car and was seated in the backseat along with Nick, who saw I was eager for the night. Kevin had said these horrible things to intimidate me, “Jenny, your mother and I have decided you need to be home 10:00 sharp or you can’t go to the disco.” Nick was confused. I immediately said, “Uh… re-runs. He watches too many re-runs.” Gwen said, “Kevin, don’t intimidate her!” Kevin replied, “Gosh pumpkin, what do ya mean?” Gwen was getting a little aggravated, “You know exactly what I mean! When Jen likes a guy, just leave her alone!” I put a hand over my face to hide the embarrassment that conflicted between Gwen, Kevin, and me. I could not take it anymore, until Ben broke the conversation, “Kevin, just because you torture me, doesn’t mean torture my sister. Can’t you see she’s intimidated enough? Just stop it, Kevin. Give her a break. You should let this day be the happiest day of her life. You’re just sad.” Kevin was furious. “Don’t talk to me like that, Tennyson!” My brother Ben is very mouthy with Kevin and Cash, but I am the bad girl around here. ”Kevin, leave my brother ALONE.” Kevin replied, “Or what?” “Or this.” I had shut down Kevin’s car with my powers, but if i lost control of it, my plan would fail. “Hey! You shut down my car! You’ll pay for this, Tennyson!” Nick replied, “Over me first.” Kevin said, “Okay, I’ll let you go this time, Tennyson, since it’s your oh-so-wonderful night. But I warn you…” Kevin broke off as I let his engine start up again. Once we were at the pier, we got out of the car and walked off. “ You’re a brave one, Jen.” I blushed. “Thanks. You’re a nice guy, Nick.”


    Chapter 5

    I was sitting with Nick, not really doing anything. “So… Jen, do you want to do anything? I mean, you want anything? A drink? I’m buying’.” I smiled and replied, “No thanks. I had a big supper.” Nick smiled. “Hey, let’s go for a walk around the pier. I think that would be cool.” I replied, “That would be great.” As we walked, we came upon a pack of DNAliens. “Look who joined the party.” I threw myself at a DNAlien and shot a large blue energy beam at it. I had soon destroyed a few more DNAliens, and Nick hurt a few, too. We started walking again near a brick wall. I thought I heard something, and snuck to the edge of the wall. My back was against the wall as i sneaked up towards the edge. Nothing. Suddenly a hand just appeared out of nowhere and pulled me away. The owner of that hand was a highbreed. When I turned around, I saw Ben, Gwen, and Kevin fighting against another pack of DNAliens. I threw myself at the highbreed and clawed him as hard as possible with my razor-sharp nails. “Lucky I didn’t trim these claws!” The highbreed backed up and shouted, you’ve infected me, you impure scoundrel! After that, Nick appeared, as shocked as if he’s seen a ghost. After that, the highbreed smacked me in the face; the impact threw me literally across the whole room. i hit the wall, my hair fell out of my face, and had a black eye and as a bonus, fell unconscious.

    Chapter 6

    I awakened not knowing who I was. When I saw Ben, I did not know who he was. Ben asked, “Jen, you okay?” I replied, “Who’s Jen?” Ben said, “Amnesia. Jen has amnesia. One thing I don’t get is why she hides her right eye? She can’t open her eye now. we must wait until she recovers.” Suddenly, for some wacky reason, i blurted out, “He’s coming for me! Revenge!!! Then, I lay my head back again and back unconscious. Kevin asked, “What the heck did she just say?” I awakened again, and repeated, “He is coming for me! REVENGE!!!” Ben said, “ Who has wanted revenge… oh snap, that’s Albito!” Kevin asked, with slight humor, “What, do you mean the guy who is your creepy twin? Oh man!” I finally came back to consciousness, blurred and dizzy. Ugh… I don’t want to even EXPLAIN that feeling!
    “Ugh… Ben… is that you? I think I lost myself for a few minutes…” Ben said, “It’s been an hour, Jen.” “Oh… was I talking in my sleep again?” ben replied, “As always, Jen.” Well, what did I say?” Ben said, “ He is coming! Revenge!” Ring a bell?” I blurted, “Albito! Yikes! I’m getting’ outta here!” Someone grabbed me by the arm. “Ouch! Ben!” Ben said, Jen, that wasn’t me… stay calm…” When I twisted around, I saw a figure about Ben’s size. He spoke to Ben, “Miss me?” I gasped, realizing who the figure was. Albito!
