• Dream from June 29 2009:

"We'll leave when I know if Sparks beats Pearce." This was my mothers voice, "Marcy? Did you hear me?" I opened my eyes to the dream world when I heard the last part of my mothers statement. I was sitting in her room, dressed to go out some where. Looking to the T.V I could see Nanny Deb from Nanny 911 talking to some one, telling them how to re-raise their kid, while Nanny Stella was doing the same in the other screen. "Earth to Marcy?"

    "Yeah, yeah...Well go when Sparks beats Pearce." There was a pause and I watched my mom put on make up, my make up, make up she had only barrow ed, but was now finishing it up. Wasting it, plastering it on her face. Then from around the corner I heard a fierce low grumble of;

    "Aren't you guys leaving yet?"

Jack. Looking to the clock I saw it was only ten o'clock, but thats what worried me. What was he doing home at ten o'clock? What was he doing home? I chose the option of not pursuing the matter and watched the television, "Where are we going?" I finally asked realizing I didn't know what we were doing.

"It seems like its been a while from the last time we were there." My age concealing mother said. After that I knew the answer. There was a long pause and she stood walking over to Jack's room, "So...Did the Seattle Sparks beat the Princeton Piercers?" Standing I looked at the television in my less then physical fit step-father. His electric box of pictures only showed men standing with a trophy and a foot ball laying on the ground.

My first hint I was Alice falling down the rabbit hole...

Then I look to the T.V. in my mothers room, the television of old wrinkled ladies telling mothers and fathers whats wrong with their family and how to fix it to make them the perfect example of the All British Family. The families were Sparks and Pearce.

She takes my hand and leads me to the truck were we get in and drive, I zone out here, we drive this road nearly every day so the spectacles of its side lines I no longer care for. Then the scenario changes and were parking in the Pamida parking lot. Out from the electric doors walks my boyfriend, Alistair. Behind him steps out his mother, my own mother stops and asks if they need a ride. They nod that they do.

For some unknown reason my mother ended up with their bag during a red light, sifting through looking about. Then the light changes green, almost in the same instant she pulls out a paper carton. "Look Marcy, Yo-Go." She's trying to look like a model holding it on its side with the lip of it out, its contents daring to splash out into the back seat and nearly falling onto the rightful owners.

I snatch it from her and say that I would like to stay with Alexander if they don't mind. They nod that I can. How ever, we didn't get out of the car before I noticed that they weren't walking up to the house they normally had lived in. It was an apartment complex. What happened after this point was we went up to Joe's apartment and then from all I recall is that Joe and I ended up falling asleep.

I've fallen further down the rabbit hole...

I woke up and found my self going out side, walking into the hallway to find that the apartment was now a hotel. Not what it had been when I went to sleep. I soon found my grandparents from my mother's side. We talked back and forth and I found out that they were staying only a few doors down and I told them I would be there soon.

Going back to Joe's apartment I opened the door to find my self standing on the roof of a long building. A front me was an old trunk with blankets stacked up high. This was one of the first times I told my self, 'Look at the sky.' I did the clouds were a musty yellow and dark gray, light peaking out through the gaps revealing a night sky...even though I could see the sun clearly from behind the clouds.

I walked along this long building that when I looked down just to see how high up I was, was made of glass and brass gertters. I then took in the fact that I was taller then the rest of the city around me. confused I started walking forward. As I walked how ever I shrank, by the time I got to the blanket trunk I was far to short to just jump. So I had to go back run and jump.

When I got on top of the blanket trunk I found my self looking at a stack of electronics, old retro, plastic, and clunky. I begun to climb finding my self growing once again. There was then a window and I fell through, landing on someone.

It was a man, he yelled at me for a moment. Annoyed I stood and he said, "Oh your cosplaying American Mcgee's Alice." I looked down and I was wearing my American Mcgee's Alice costume, only it was more lolita esque. He stood up walking away.

The back of his shirt depicted a white rabbit that actually waved to me, making me fallow him. He entered a costume shop and I heard a lady ask if I was here to start work, I told her, "No, I don't work here." So I left and went back to Joe's house to get my normal cloths. How ever when I opened the door to what I thought was my grandparents room, I opened the door only to find the building and the blanket trunk, with out a window and electronics. So I went back to Joe's apartment, not even knowing why the first place I went was my grandparents room.

I found my self on the same building, in front of the same blanket trunk, with the same clunky electronics on the trunk and the same window, I fell through and was suddenly in my usual ensemble of black. My first idea was that I would look around, see were I was.

It was a large room, set up like a Gothic cathedral. In the center was a glass box. I got closer and looked at it, in the front I saw a faded hologram heart, on the left was a club, the right a spade, and on the back was the diamond. I went up onto my tip-toes and looked down through a faded clock face that was in the shape of an oval.

There was a pain in my foot that made me go back down onto my whole foot, but I realized something. From the sides the box was empty, how ever from the top the box had something inside. I went back on to the tips of my toes again and looked I could see brass roman numeral numbers and clock hands, there were also brass letters were a message addressed to me.

I looked it over and realized what it said,

    'Marcy,

Going to an art show with my parents, won't be back until next Tuesday.

    I'll miss you a lot,

    Love Alistair.'

When I looked up the room was filled with people, I was at an art show. A part of me wanted to look for Alistair, but instead I left and sat up in my bed.

I think I can see the bottom of the rabbit hole up ahead.

I was in a different house when I woke up, it was the house that we've been planning to buy. I went up the stairs and found a group of people sitting in the living room, "Who are you?" I demanded.

"Were Alistair's cousins." I knew this was a lie, I've met them and they weren't his cousins.

"No, Your not." I hissed. They shrugged and I heard a rustling behind me, I turned to see an old...I can't really say friend because he and I didn't talk enough to actually even know each other. We really aren't even acquaintances, we just simply know of the other. How ever his nickname is rabbit, and he is rather pail and white.

He walked from a back room and over to the front door were he existed, I fallowed and found my self falling into darkness. This made me realize I like the felling of free falling, how weightless I became, and the sensation of seeing the spec of light that was the door I stepped out of get smaller and smaller as I went.

I hit the bottom of the rabbit hole.

Sitting up once more I looked around, same old house. Everything the same. I stood up and was in the very pajamas that I fell asleep in and walked over to the stairs and went up into the sitting room and cough sight of my step-father seated at the kitchen table alone, slouched over. More then likely troubled by finical issues.

I took in the fact that there was a lot of garbage sitting around the garbage. So I begin to pick up and come across a birthday cake featuring Dora the Explorer. I picked up the toy figure that had come with the cake and sighed, it looked more the less like one of the Bratz doll. In my mind I could see a commercial for said dolls, when the horror show was over I continued cleaning and turned around.

It finally hit me what was wrong with Jack. His head was gone, the warm gooey liquid that was his blood slipping down onto the table, a demonic laugh caused me to shoot a look over to its source there sat my mother in a outfit of red, on her head was a crown, in her hands was a blood heart shaped ax. She stood and I ran to get a knife. What shocked me was the time. The green lighted numbers said it was two o'clock.

I jumped from my bed screaming, "I slept until two o'clock!?"

    End of the Dream.
