    A report on how pandas came to rule the world

    The Giant Panda, it was once an endangered animal, now the world's dominant species, interesting yeah I thought so too.
    Thanks to conservation groups and animal right's activists by the year 2057 the pandas were removed from the endangered species list. Their population eventually grew so large and rapidly that the pandas consumed the bamboo plant to extinction by 2076. Then it happened, to avoid starvation following a mass extinction, the pandas adapted to eat meat like they once did before they found bamboo.
    The pandas ate everything and anything they could get their paws on including humans. To capture larger or faster prey they learned to hunt cooperatively. A team of four or five of them could take down and devour a full grown elephant in less than three hours. By the year 2124 pandas had driven the human race to the verge of extinction, the last of whom living small nomadic groups that consisted anywhere from twenty to one hundred people constantly fighting for their lives and the very existence of their species.
    By the year 2276 there was only one group of humans left with about fifty or so people. Most other species of land animals were hunted to extinction or close to it by the ruthless pandas. The last humans desperate to end the panda menace decided to fight their way to an abandoned military base to use the nuclear missile silo. They had almost reached the silo when they were attacked by a large horde of pandas so they were forced to hold up in the base's armory. The pandas constantly clawed at the walls and doors. When they finally broke through the survivors fired upon the pandas with the weapons that the armory had. They held the bloodthirsty creatures back for three full days. During this time a group of five or so found a secret tunnel that lead directly to the control room of the missile silo. At the end of the third day of the panda siege of the armory the survivors succumbing to hunger and running out of ammo perished at the claws of the pandas. At the same time the survivors in the control room were preparing the nuclear missiles, the survivors being inexperienced with anything of this nature messed up some sort of the preparations and the missiles malfunctioned causing a meltdown and consequently the extinction of the human race.
    The radiation caused the pandas in the armory to mutate. With the human meat and organs in the panda's stomachs they mutated into human like things with human intelligence. With their intelligence and retaining their panda physique the panda mutants ruled over the pandas, the world and turned them into the most powerful civilization in the history of the world.
