"He went this way! Follow him and make sure to capture him!"
A loathsome family...Demented on torwards twisted justice.
"I have you no-Augh!"
Good ridance...I should have done this long ago.
A shadowed figure stood within, well, the shadows, watching what looked to be armored knights in this castle-like structure. Heavy footsteps could be heard from around the corners as a few other knights popped over and approached the other group.
"Have you found him?"
"No, he must have escaped. This is what's left."
The knights looked down to a bleeding metal body, a chunk of ice stuck through the leg. The one who had the injury was holding in his pained screams, only letting out heavy breaths, "I'm sorry sir...I didn;t expect him to attack his own family."
"Do not worry, young lad. He is just in a rebellious stage. He will come back to us. But otherwise, capture him at any cost," said the voice of an almost aged man who wore one of the fanciest armors in this place. Minus the helmate.
"He has the Sword of Aeterna with him. We must get him back...However, if he were in a rebellious stage, I think he would'nt take that sword. He must have a reason for it." Said a second fancy knight who was a lot younger and had a more elegant tone of speech.
"Enough talk. Search and capture Delminok Aeterna, now!" Ordered the old knight as they all split to somewhere. The one left there was the elegant young knight.
"Delminok Aeterna...the one who was to lead the whole army were he is to finish his course. He just had to stray from his correct path, didn't he?" The knight said before walking off himself.
Hmph, what a wretched existence my family is.
Since the coast was definetly clear, a golden-tan colored greave stepped out from the shadows. Then a second before the figure stepped out of the blackness to reveal his true existence. Delminok Aeterna. He had his eyes closed with a silent sigh, the golden-tan chest plate gleaming from the fire-lit lanterns. His black hair spiked out a bit, a slight boyish style. His clothing under the armor matched his hair and eyes, being it was black with crimson lining. His eyes opened, a crimson color replacing the natural color they should be. He reached back into the shadows and then pulled something large from the covering darkness.
The bladed metal had carved, crimson runes on the black plate on the sides. A ruby sparkled at the bottom of the hilt as well as other rubies glittered the hand-gaurd.
"Hmph, now to get out of this place," This young boy thought, sheathing the large sword in the open sheath on his back, "This place once called my home. The house of the Aeterna family of knights."
The Aeterna family of knights. One large family that consists wholy of knights. The current leaders of the family are Dresim Aeterna and Quindes Aeterna, a married couple who had one son. They had high hopes for their son, to lead the Aeterna knights to victory in many battles. They put the spell of congenial sight on his eyes, like they do on every Aeterna, making them the blood color that they are. This blood colored eyes is what helped them get this high and mighty, scaring many of their foes with such menacingly perfidious eyes.
They began training the small boy, soon as he was able to walk, teaching sword play and magic. The Aeterna family was best using fire type spells, burning their enemies to ashes with every chance they could. But this boy had a different gift. Ice and Water. The Aeterna family had no idea how to train any other type other than fire, so they hired wizards and mages that passed by to teach their royal son the ways of ice and water type spells.
As the boy grew, he was trained harder and harder. Every year, his birthday would come. The only present he got was a ticket to the nursery and doctors or a scolding for doing something wrong in training. While this was unfair to him, other knights were actualy able to celebrate their dates of birth.
The boy grew more, to be more able to think for himself. His current age is fourteen. Having been taught by the wisest sages, he was pretty smart. One day, though, he broke. This life of a knight was being forced upon him without a care to his feelings. On that day, he had a sort of argument with his parents, about how he didn't want to be a knight. But the disagreement was not in his favor. At that moment, he thought of the freedom from this torment and pain, and the idea hit him. Escape. From this Shackled Destiny.
He snuck out of his room that night, knowing of the gaurd patrols and snuck his way to the treasury. There was the prized weapon of the family. The Aeternas heirloom. The Sword of Aeterna. The first original blade held by the founder of the family of knights, Drannem Aeterna. He wanted to have a peaceful future. But he didn't expected the family to corrupt and shackle the destiny to everyone.
Taking the sword, the boy went out of the treasury and went for his escape...but...
"Hey! Who are you?" Asked a gaurd that caught a glimpse of his figure then turned the alarm on, "Alert, we have a thief in the castle! From what I can see, he took the Sword of Aeterna!"
By that, everyone awoke, got up, and started the search after getting on their armor. Delminok Aeterna couldn't be found anywhere. Hell, they would have forced him to find this thief. But little did they know that it was Delminok Aeterna himself. He was found, noticed, and recognized. The boy ran, dashed, weaved and dodged the gaurds, hallways and the like, for his life was at stake. His real life. The life he wanted to live. To do what he wished. But they didn't care for his life. Only his...
Shackled Destiny.
After a long while of running, he hid in this large shadow before a group of knights stopped. More knights showed then they split off except one who spoke with himself before getting away himself. The boy stepped forward out of the shadows, revealing his true existence.
"Hmph, now to get out of this place," This young boy thought, sheathing the large sword in the open sheath on his back, "This place once called my home. The house of the Aeterna family of knights."
He started walking down the corridor, making a note to where he was. The second floor. If he could make it down, he would be home fr-...er...Well, he'd be free. Delminok let out a second silent sigh before coming to a turning point to another hallway. He closed his eyes for a moment to remember which way to go before opening his eyes and started walking up the hallway.
"There he is! Capture him!" Delminok's expression changed to one of annoyance. These guys were everywhere, swamping the place in search for him. He couldn't believe he was so important. But he took himself from his thoughts and looked behind him to find more knights approaching.
"You've got no where to run, Delminok. I promise not to hurt you if you come quietly." Said the elegant voice from before as the young knight from earlier came up through the group of flunky knights.
"Yesim..." Delminok mumbled with an uncaring expression.
"Oh, you remember my name after all." Said the young knight named Yesim as he smiled. His head was covered in the darkness of the hallway, but the smile could be seen easily. It was a devishly wicked smile plastered and coated over in fake angelic sweetness, "So, will you come quietly?" Yesim asked, reaching a hand forward.
"The hell I will." Delminok replied bitterly.
"Such foul language for such a young one. But if we must degrade ourselves to such brutalities, then you leave me no choice." The young knight unsheathed a thin point blade, an estoc. Yesim raised the needle sword, pointing it at the rebellious youth.
Before long, Yesim went forward with a thrust torwards Delminok, but Delminok swiftly stepped to the side, the blade centimeters from catching his clothing. Though, Delminok left a foot still, which tripped Yesim to the ground.
Yesim growled some, "Such a discracefull act torwards an elegant saint such as I!" Delminok rolled his eyes as Yesim went for another thrust, which was avoided once more by a side-step by Delminok. But Yesim stopped himself and slashed the blade at Delminok. It was too close to grab the Sword of Aeterna and block.
The end already?...No! I will not have that Shackled Destiny!
Delminok raised a hand and the sword made contact. The surrounding knights just watched in awe. Small drips of blood hit the onyx floor. The bloodshed should have been more, had it not been for a plan. As Delminok put his hand up, he froze over the bladed part that would hit his hand, but was slightly slow and got a wide cut across his hand.
"Get lost. You won't be able to capture me." Delminok said before kicking Yesim away and onto the ground, letting his estoc go as Delminok still held the ice coated part. Yesim hit the floor, landing on his back close to a group of knights. The estoc fell from Delminoks hand, clanging against the floor.
"What are you waiting for, you fools! Get him!" Ordered Yesim but they were late. Two walls of ice formed quickly, blocking off the knights.
Delminok closed his eyes and let out a deep breath before looking to the wall, opening one eye. A window. Glass had broken from what Yesim could hear.
"He jumped out?! But we're on the second floor!"
Delminok just watched as he fell down, watching the earth come closer and closer. A daredevils stunt. A smirk appeared on his face, ice began forming before he straightened himself up, his feet landing on a slanted ice slope and slid down before his feet safely touched ground with the soles of his greaves.
He began to run away, into the large city that surrounded the castle, the tall concrete buildings and small housing apartments. People rode horses, or carriages driven by horses. Delminok just passed by everything, running through crowds of gossiping people before jumping into an alleyway. He leaned back on the wall, closed his eyes with a heavy sigh.
Delminok then opened his eyes with a determined look after a small while, ready for any consequences that would come to happen.
Goodbye forever, my abhorrent home. My discracefull family...
Goodbye...my once Shackled Destiny.
