• Third person view, Act ten, book five.

Slowly before her eyes they turned into nothing. Being broken down into dust might sound painless, might sound like a peaceful way to go, returning back to the air and Sky above, the Earth and sea below. But their soundless cries echoed throughout the field they stood in, with the Host of Time at her knees, at the mans' feet, powerless to resist, but trying alltogether. Her colf fire light and dark brown eyes were blank, with no shine as she was manipulated to kneel before him. Behind stood the two of the Moon, both cast under that very same spell.
Ange-Chan, that was her name - otherwise known as the Host of Time - her shoulders shook as she fought the power he laced over her body like a blanket. Behind her stood the invisible Goddess of the Sun, previously known as the Goddess of Power. Her eyes shook as she watched her Host. She could be seen by no one, seemingly as she had been broken down. Through her mind passed the thought that it was a good thing that her family had not come. Although the seven other Hosts were now turned into particles in the air, they shimmered around Ange-Chan, while her shoulders shook more violently as she got to her feet.
The man's eyes widened in amazement. But he ground his teeth in sheer will and stubborness.
"I won't hand her over, do not try to fight. Useless!" He spat out at her, his outstretched arms glowing a dark, sinister purple. His fingers were slightly crooked in her direction, shaking with the power of his spell. The jagged lines of his magic shot out of his fingertips and towards her, showing no mercy as they envelopped her in their dark magic.
Her eyes darkened - though it was more apparent that the left, seeming that it was a paler brown. They were like a mirror of her Soul, torn between the two sides of one coin.
"My... friends..." She whispered into nothingness as the magic tightened around her slender frame. "They are all gone..." A silent tear fell down her cheek as she looked dead into his face, her eyes regaining their cold fire, burning through even the darkest and deepest Soul, devouring all tht stood in her way.
"And I won't have it!" She exclaimed, and used the immense newfound strength in her arms to remove the binding ribbons from the man being shrugged off like the wind.
The wind was a different story. It swirled around, making the particles in the air shimmer as they danced and twirled in the wind. Fayne of the Sun watched her Host with a worried look, creasing her eyebrows as Ange-Chan changed before her very eyes.
"This power..." She whispered, bringing a hand to cover her lips. "I have a feeling he was right all along." She shook her head, her left hand hovering near her weapon. Even if she could not fight while in no shape.
The dust lifting from the ground envelopped Ange-Chan, hiding her transformation from the world. But the large shadow of a new figure was apparent in the lifting dust, with the Host standing beside the large figure.
She was different. And no one in the area would use the word lightly.

Beside her stood one of the Kings of the Skies, the orange scales coating it's body had running electricity bolts jumping on them. No one sane would unnessesarily touch the dragon, and yet she placed her hand on it's scales like it was nothing. She even smiled a little, opening her red eyes. She smiled a sort of Vampire smile, which sent shivers down the spines of the two of the Moon. It was an almost unseemingly minor detail, but she wore a dragons' eye around her neck on an old string. It was turquoise.
She put her hands out in front of her, her palms outstetched towards the two of the Moon. With a flick of her right index finger the dragon flapped it's large wings, knocking them very far from where they previously stood. Immediately their eyes showed that th magic was gone. With an even crueler smile, she turned her ice fire eyes to the man.
Her hands started glowing red, her hair lifted off her shoulders. The dragon beside her lifted it's muzzle to the sky, the bright moon in the Sky lining every scale of the mystical creature. As a Wolf howled in the distance, the dragon let out a roar as mighty as it's own kind, crouching down and shooting the lighting ball towards the man.
"This magic..." Fayne of the Sun asked, completely shocked and honestly afraid of her Host for the first time. "It is impossible. There is no way that this child has been able to learn lost magic."
The impact sent a bolt of light towards the heavens, and the glittering particles in the Sky and air started gathering into a group, forming the shapes of fifteen people. The dragon disapeared as mysteriously as it had appeared, with the Host of Time falling to the floor.

I did say that it is still in progress, but this is an important part of the book. I came up with it while listening to the song Requiem For A Dream.
