• CHAPTER 1

    As I awoke in the morning, I heard something thumping against my bedroom window. I opened the window, and sighted the person that irritates me the most, my neighbor Jake and his sister Lexi. Jake was throwing gram crackers at my window ( weird huh? ) .

    "GET OFFA MY LAWN YOU DOUCHE!", I yelled at him. He smirked, so I put up my middle finger and closed the window. I began to go down the winding stairs to the family room, winding my way through my familys house down to the kitchen. I stopped, went straight to the cabinet and pulled out a box of cheerios. My sister Lizzy snickered. I was suspicious, so I opened the box of cereal and put my hand right in.

    "You did something to my cereal!" I shouted. She smiled in an innocent way and said " Daddy, Jennifers lying! Make her stop!"
    My dad looked at me and said " Now, you leave your sister alone, shes done nothing to you."
    My eye twitched. NOTHING?!?! I've been tortured for YEARS by the devil I call my sister.

    I then went outside with my bagpack and hurried to the BMW waiting for me.
    About 20 minutes later I hopped out and treaded toward the fountain where Alice (Donika),Snoop(Melissa),Momo(Jacob),Pen(Carly), and some other dude (How am I supposed to know?!) were sitting. Immediatly they all screamed "HI!!!".
    Donika then said "Does anybody have jerky?" and Jacob pulled a packet of beef jerky out of his pocket.
    "Uhhh...why do you keep jerky in your pocket?" Said Pen.
    ".....Its useful...?" He replied.
    "Thanks." Donika said, ripping open the packet with her teeth.
    "EWWW!!!!DONT YOU KNOW THEIRS GERMS ON THAT?!" I screamed.
    "Girly girl." She muttered.

    Catie then skated by, the principal chasing after her. As he was yelling
    "GET OFF THAT CONTRAPTION CAITLYN!!!" She just went faster and faster, with bacon hanging out of her mouth.
    "HEY, GIMMIE MY ******** BACON BACK!!!" Melissa screamed at Catie.
    "ITS MY BACON NOW SUCKER!!!" She yelled back.
    "PFFFT." We all held in our laughter.
    "OMG MY BLUSH IS SMUDGED!" I screamed, loud enough for everybody outside to turn around and stare.
    I blushed and hid my head behind Donika's.
    Donika continued to happily eat the jerky Jacob gave her, while Jacob was trying to tie his shoe.
    "Need some help?" Samantha Faulker, a pretty girl in 9th grade asked Jacob.
    Jacob stood their, staring, in shock. "PREEETTTTTTYYYY." He stumbled.
    Samantha blushed. Jacob stammered " Uh, tie shoe please my."
    We all burst out laughing. Samantha replied "Well umm....okay."
    She tied his shoe and left hurrying back to the group of 9th graders.
    Jacob said "This moment will change my life forever."
    "As if, skirt chaser." Replied me and Carly at the same time.
    "Haha!" We both said.
    "Okay thats a little creepy lets stop now." I said.
    "Agreed."
    Then, Donika's crush Keaton stopped right in front of me.
    "Hey Jen, did you get a copy of that sheet of music from choir?"
    I groaned. "Dont remind me choir is required,I mean its nice and all ... just not for me."
    "But anyway, I do have that music sheet, you can take it home and copy it if you want."
    "That'd be great." I passed him the sheet of music and he walked away.
    Donika screamed " YOU KNOW HIM?! "
    "Yuh-yes ....?" I replied
    "WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME?! I'VE BEEN WORKING UP CONFIDENCE TO ASK HIM OUT AND ALL THIS TIME YOU JUST SIT THEIR NOT SAYING ONtE THING!"
    "Well I don't listen,you would know that I only listen to things that appeal to me."
    "Forget it."
    "Okay!"
    I began to play with the dangly necklace Donika was wearing.
    "Would you stop that?!"
    "SHINNEEEYYYY!!!!" I said.
    Then, Ren Johnson started walking our way and began to talk to Jacob.
    "Hey what up Ren?"
    "Nothin."
    "Any luck with that wreck of a car?" Jacob asked.
    "Nope."
    Jacob turned his head to see me biting my lip and staring at Ren's head.
    "What are you lookin at Jen?"
    "NOTHING!" I blushed and pretended to be interested in Melissa talking about her newest scheme to steal more bacon and gum from Catie.

    The bell rang, and we all went to class.
