It slowly appeared over the Slitheen, at first it seemed transparent to the surroundings. When it fully appeared I was in awe. It was the box, the Tardis. The door opened and the Doctor stepped out, "What are you people standing around for, come on!"
Austin and I were the first ones to run in. And man, we were in for a surprise! When I stepped through that dull, old police box, it wasn't a box anymore. It was HUGE! Your typical, alien spaceship thing.
"No, this is impossible!" Austin exclaimed as he ran out. I stepped out slowly as Austin went around the Tardis a couple of times. I couldn't believe my eyes, was this all a dream? Maria, Clyde, and Luke casually walked in, talking amongst themselves about what had happened today. They must be kind of used to this sort of thing. Back then, I didn't know how anybody could be used to this.
"Amazing, isn't it?" Sarah Jane asked as she walked in the Tardis.
“More like impossible.” I thought. After this, nothing could be impossible.
Austin and I walked back in the Tardis behind Sarah Jane. The door closed behind us with a creak. Austin and I looked around the huge, round room. We were overwhelmed by how real it was, this is actually real. Through all the years of us trying to find proof of extraterrestrial, it so happens that it found us, the Doctor found us.
"Welcome to the Tardis," the Doctor said. He said some other things afetr that, but to be honest I barely listened. This was AMAZING! Brilliant as the Doctor would say.
"Hold on to something," he told us, "It's going to be a bumpy ride." He walked up to the middle of the room. There were a lot of buttons and things, too many too count. He pulled a lever and the Tardis began to shake like an earthquake. At first, I wasn't really enjoying it that much, but after a minuet or two, I got used to it.
"Whoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!" I exclaimed as I held on to a pole. It was like a rollarcoaster! Austin seemed to be having fun also with this!
The Doctor pushed his foot up against the lever to stop the Tardis. It came to a sudden halt."That was fun!" Austin said.
"Yeah!" I answered as Clyde and I high-fived.
"Where are we?" Sarah Jane asked the Doctor.
"The planet, Clom. It's the Slitheens last stop." he answered as he pushed one of the many buttons. The Slitheen slowly faded away.
We had another “bumpy ride” and this time it was too say goodbye to Sarah Jane, Clyde, Maria, Luke, and K-9. Even if I was barely ever with the little tin dog, I even bonded with him!
When we stopped, we all went outside. I was actually in London! I have been wanting to come here ever since I was little.
“So, I guess this is goodbye,” I said as Maria walked towards me.
“No, this isn’t. We’ll see each other again. Sarah Jane and the Doctor are bound to meet again anyway.” She said smiling.
“Wait,” I said, “Who said I’d be with the Doctor?”
“I figured you might want to. It wouldn’t hurt to ask.”
She was right, I really did want to stay and travel with him for a bit. This has been a blast the past couple of nights. I’ve seen things that I couldn’t possibly imagine, and what I’ve been searching for. But the question was…should I go?
So the Doctor, Austin, and I said our goodbyes to everybody and walked back in the Tardis.
“Wait, Doctor?” I asked as he threw his coat to the side, “We are supposed to go back in time to where this never happened right? Isn’t it true that they won’t remember anything because we just dropped them off?”
“We did go in the past already,” he answered, “Nice spotting though. That is the thinking of a great time traveler.”
To be honest, I didn’t just come up with that in my head. I’ve seen enough Sci-fi shows and movies to know that.
We went off again. The ride didn’t seem the same without Sarah Jane and everybody else.
