- Lyra woke up, still in her clothes from yesterday. She groaned, what had happened? She remembered the party at her friend Skyler's mansion, but then things got blury. She looked around the room and found herself not able to move much. She pulled her arm, but only recieved a clink in response. She tried to stand up, but the task was hard to perform with only one leg. She stared at her thigh, dazed. 'What?' she thought, everything seemed surreal to her now. The room, which had been dark due to the lights being off, was now very bright. She held up a hand infront of her face. Three men walked in from an unseen door, and began to chech her temperature and things like that. One held a flashlight infront of her eye, and then let out a satisfied hmph. "Whats happening....Wh-Where am I?" she asked, and then the doctors left. Leaving her in utter silence, which was occasionally broke by someone whimpering. Soon, a guy dressed all in white walked in. She almost laughed, (his hair was also white). He looked at her curiously, when he saw the amused expression on her face. "My name, is Dr. Charles Deveroux. Do you remember anything of your past? Ms. Lerot?" he said. She relized that the whimpering was coming from her, and she quickly put an end to it. "Yes. I remember everything" she lied. This response enraged the doctor, and she smiled at his displeasure. "Impossible!" he roared, and closed the gap between them. "Just a moment ago you asked the doctors where you were and what you were doing here. Do. Not. Lie. To me!" he said. she smiled innocently. "Ooops, you caught me doc."

- Shes actually a really stubborn person. XD thanks for the tip! But I actually read this good book where they did almost the same thing, and took it from it.

Its' really good! The only thing I would suggest is her final line. It isn't really natural for someone to be tied up in an unknown place getting checked by doctors and so on to maintain the ability for sarcasm. I'm not saying make her a whimpering sob, but just keep in mind that its' more likely for people to be in hysterics since the need for survival takes over.
But! This is really fantastic and I will be a dedicated reader as I find out what happens to Ms. Lyra Lerot! Please keep it up! - Report As Spam
