She pulled her head away and walked off before naruto could see, only to run into an old man, who swore at her. She ran as the man screamed something that made her heart skip a beat. "I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" There was such an evil tone in his husky old voice, it was almost as if he would kill her. She sprayed some small rocks in the road as she thundered up the small street to the inn. She was making such quick time, she almost ran into the innkeeper. "I'm s-sorry." she called, and ran into her room, kind enough to close the door quietly.
As she breathed slowly to keep her heart from killing itself, she noticed a note on her bed. Going for a ramen run. It was from naruto. She trashed it, then walked to the soft bed. I'm too tired. I'm going to bed. Hinata thought this sleepily as she put on a set of purple PJ's with little lavender moons all over. They were making a little rustling noise as she put them on that she didn't notice the man outside her window, just a shdow, but as he turned, just a glimmer of his headband showed with clouds on it.
As Naruto walked in, he noticed Hinata wasn't there. His face was sort of sullen, because his feelings were all mixed up. When he walked past her room the door was slightly ajar. He looked only to see hinata sleeping quietly, her face white from the moon. Naruto clutched his stomach. Whats wrong with me? I like Sakura, not hinata. There was also something worse that was pressing at the back of his mind like a lead weight. Can i trust anyone with my secret? He didn't want to tell anyone about what he harbored, although both his sensei's knew, they wouldn't tell anyone.
