Chapter 2: Survival against the Rival!

" The Championship battle is set!" said the announcer. " It's Ryu vs. Jason! Who will win?" Ryu steps out to the ring with Pikachu by his side. Jason steps out the ring with Chimchar. " So you finally made it to the Finale, huh?" asked Jason. "Of course!" said Ryu. " We will not loose to nobody especially you!" " Pika!" said Pikachu with sparks on it's cheeks. " We'll see about that! Get out there Chimchar!" commanded Jason. Chimchar ran into battle. " Go Quilava!" said Ryu throwing his pokeball. Quilava appeared with excitement. " Quilava use flamethrower!" said Ryu. Quilava used Flamethrower, letting out a big flame from it's mouth. " Chimchar jump in the air!" said Jason. Chimchar jumped in the air. " Use flamewheel!" said Jason. Chimchar span vertically while covering itself in fire. " Quilava use flamewheel, too!" said Ryu. Quilava used flamewheel. Quilava and Chimchar clashed together, making a big explosion. " Chimchar use fury swipes!" said Jason. Chimchar came at Quilava. " Quilava, dodge it!" said Ryu. Quilava dodged the fury swipes with amazing speed. Chimchar was tired from attacking. " Quilava use Quick Attack!" said Ryu. Quilava tackled Chimchar with amazing speed. Chimchar was knocked out! " Chimchar is defeated! Quilava wins!" said the anouncer. " Chimchar return!" said Jason. Chimchar returned to it's pokeball. " That's only the first round Ryu!" said Jason. " Go Raichu!" said Jason throwing his pokeball. Raichu appeared. " Go Pikachu!" said Ryu. Pikachu ran into battle. " That puny little thing?!" asked Jason. " So what?!" asked Ryu. " At least my Pikachu isn't FAT like yours!" said Ryu. " That's it you're going to pay!" said Jason. " Raichu use Thunder!" Raichu used Thunder on Pikachu. Pikachu was hit to the ground. " Pikachu are you okay?!" asked Ryu. " Pika!" said Pikachu. " Let's show them what we're made of!" said Ryu. " Pikachu use Quick Attack!" Pikachu rushed at Raichu with great speed. " Raichu use Iron Tail!" said Jason. Raichu's tail turned very bright. It swung at Pikachu. Pikachu fell to the ground. " Piakchu you got to get up!" said Ryu. Pikachu got up but barely. " Let's end this!" said Jason. " Raichu use Hyper Beam!" Raichu's tail stuck Pikachu to a rock. Pikachu couldn't do anything. " Pikachu!" shouted Ryu. Pikachu heard Ryu. It had to do something. It smacked Raichu with it's tail. Raichu's hyper beam hit the big boulder. " Pikachu use Iron Tail!" said Ryu. Pikachu hit Raichu in the stomach. Raichu got off of Pikachu. " Piakchu use Agility!" said Ryu. " Raichu samck it with Iron Tail!" said Jason. Raichu was trying to hit Pikachu but it was too fast. Raichu got dizzy. " Pikachu use Volt Tackle!" said Ryu. Pikachu used Volt Tackle and hit Raichu. Raichu was knocked out. " Raichu is defeated!" said the announcer. " Pikachu wins!" " We won!" said Ryu hugging Pikachu. In the evening, Ryu was walking out of the Arena. " Great job Pikachu!" said Ryu. " Hey Ryu!" said Rina. " Rina!" said Ryu running to her. " You won?" asked Rina. " I sure did!" said Ryu. He looked at Pikachu. " I mean 'we'!" said Ryu. " So you want to continue on your journey?" asked Rina. " Of course!" said Ryu. Ryu, Rina, and Pikachu continue on their journey. Now that Ryu is the champion of the Arena, what will happen next?
