• Warriors of Iris
    A Color of Friendship

On a far away planet named Chromalia, creatures called Irisoman's live there in peace. The Queen of Chromalia assigns five warriors every 1,000 years to protect the lands and keep everyone safe, but when one day, a banished fortune teller shocks everyone with a prediction that The Warriors of Iris will soon loose their powers, and the universe will turn to chaos, of course no one believes her...until it happens. Betrayed by one of their teammates, the warriors loose their powers to the Dulldin's Society -- an evil organization with the ultimate goal of taking over the universe (cliche, I know -.-''). With no hope left, the warriors, now powerless, are sent to a distant planet called Earth to find legendary keys that grant ultimate power before the Dulldin's Society, who are planning on using these keys to destroy everything...But the warriors can not do it alone. They are instructed to recruit, and train five NEW warriors on Earth to help them on their adventure by giving them what's left of their powers...and stopping the Dulldin's Society at all cost.

    Chapter 1
All great adventures begin with just an ordinary day…

    “Eeek!” screams a fear-stricken citizen.
“What is that?” Another person cries aloud as a large metallic saucer zooms above their heads. As it hovers over the streets of Korn-feild, Kansas, the screams, shouts and cries did not cease below. At long last, it comes to gentle stop on the solid, black river. Seconds pass before the large door slowly opens revealing a slim figure coated with green with a head the shape of a potato. It is, indeed, an alien.

Then the other worldly creature steps forward and he reveals a flock of identical beings standing behind him. He quickly demands, “Take us to your leader!” while holding a laser gun to a poor, defenseless woman.

“Oh, who can save us from these hideous monsters, who?” She cries aloud. Just then, as fast as lightning, something flies by over the clouds. Was it a bird, a plane, no, it was…Lee! Or should I say me. Yes, it is I: The Almighty Lee as well as the Protector of Earth.
“Don’t worry, helpless citizens. I’ll save you!” I scream heroically.

I wore a black T-shirt that had a capital ‘L’ on the front that totally complimented my snazzy black and white skirt. My boots were currently planted on the edge of a mile high office building while my cape flew proudly behind me. I glare down at the menacing aliens who gladly returned the scowl up towards me.

“It’s Lee! She’ll save us.” A citizen chimes. “Yeah, we’ll be okay as long as she’s here!” They praise.

“Get her!” Orders the head honcho alien. Abruptly, the aliens react to the command and laser beams fill the sky targeting me. But, I was too fast for them. I scoop, dive, duck, and dip, and not one laser beam hit me.

“Nice try, alien scums,” I yell. “But your laser beams are too slow for me.”
“Oh, yeah well, how about this you filthy Earthling,” and with that, they pull out a fairly large rocket. Everyone gasps in surprise.

“Oh, no, we’re doomed!” The people cry, but I’m not about to give up. I know exactly what to do. Before the aliens could light the rocket, I swoosh down around and around it, creating a strong tornado. The tornado pulls it into its sucking vortex and carries it into the sky and over the horizon never to be seen again.

“We’ve been defeated. Retreat!” The leader commands and in no time, they were all packed in their flying saucer, the engine begins to start, and off they fly into space. The city has been saved and Earth has been protected yet once again by me. I smile, victoriously, with my hands promptly placed on my waist; I stood nobly. The citizens begin to cheer. “We’ve been saved by The Almighty Lee, yet once again,” a roar of applause follows after. “Three cheers for Lee: hip-hip hooray! Hip-hip hooray,” The smile never leaves my face
    during their praise. “Hip-hip…Beep!”

Lee jolted upright from her bed sheets to only come face to face with her annoying, pink alarm clock. As it screamed at her in a sequence of beeps, she sat beneath her sheets still dazed from the previous dream.

“It…it was just a dream?” She sighed heavily, peeled the soft comforter off her bare legs, and tugged them over the edge of the small bed.
