• When Selena came back to her dorm, Rocky and Kelly had promised to grab her tomorrow before classes. They wanted to compare schedules, which Lee didn't understand, but figured whatever made her look typical she'd do. Personally, the girl just wanted to walk around and be alone for a bit, just a few days ago she was completely alone and loving it. Now their was no end to sound, talking, and noises. She hated it.
Not only did she hate the talking, but she hated the people here. Not the small groups of friends she may make, but the looks and smell. How impossibly hard was it to not attack somebody. They were just pounds of meat walking around, and she so badly wanted to sink her teeth into their pampered skin.
"Im back," Selena said as she opened her door and walked in. But she stopped when she saw what was before her. Her roommate, Emily, with two other girls, whos hair was obviously worked on and thick layers of makeup. They wore short shirts, and mulitiple tattoos which made Lee wonder if that was the style here. It was so diffucult to tell with everyone walking around. Was dark in, or neon, or plaid? She sighed, annoyed at these humans. Why couldn't they be more simple!?
The three girls sat on Emilys bed, prehaps looking at magazines? A sweet smell was around the room, but it was to much to be enjoyable. Instead, Lee wanted to gag, it was to much. Her eyes flickered over them, wondering why they had such a overpowering stench. Her anwser was granted when she noticed the rolls of perfume bottles around her bed. Thats where Selena noticed her suitcase on the bed as well.
It was empty, but obviously looked through. Every pocket was unzipped and all her dressers were open. Her jeans were thrown around and the pockets were plucked out to show pure emptiness. The same story for all of her clothing, shoes, sheets, and anything else that Selena was given.
"Whats going on?" Lee asked, her voice filling to defense.
Emily rose up, her lips a dark pink and her eye liner a shade darker from earlier. She pinched her lips togther, as if she was pouting, and cocked a hip to the side. Her long brown hair slipping carelessly over her shoulder. If she tried hard enough, she could be very pretty.
"Selena, its rude to barge into rooms." She sounded like a mother.
"...But its my room," Lee accused. "And please just call me Lee."
"Selena, if you can call me Em, I can call you Selena."
    "I prefer Lee."
"Are you telling your roommate what to do?" This voice came from another on the bed. The girl with sharp clippings of hair that seemed to fit her dolled up face and large eyes. But they were a little too perfect, made Lee shiver at her hard push for beatuy. If she took off the pounds of makeup, Selena was sure she didn't look at doll-like. Not that she'd know.
Her voice was high squeeked, and her body weight seemed a little too large for such a high one. But she still seemed to enjoy shoving herself in tight clothes that probably wouldn't fit a child. For a second, she was amazed that a high voice could come out of such fat lips.
"Yes," Selena said honestly, and confused. That acutally was exactly what she was doing.
"Oh my god, she is rude," blondie agreed to a conversation Selena did not understand. Who was she talking to?
"And ugly," another girl added with preppy orange hair. Her eyes were hazel nut brown and her jaw gave off odd angles. These girls were really creeping Lee out.
"How old are you anyways?" The fat girl asked.
"Who are you?" Selena shot back.
    "I think shes.. fifteen?"
    "Yeah, sounds right."
"Ladies, ladies," Emily waved her hand as if she wasn't enjoying this. But to Lee, it didn't look like she was. She seemed quieter, but her speech was better. Prehaps it was just a one time thing. "Lets act mature and give the poor girl a break." The others nodded instantly, which caused Selena to tilt her head. She wasn't following what they were saying.
    "Huh?"
"Lee. its really quite simple," the orange girl said flipping her hair. She was suprised that she already picked up on her nickname, but didn't say anything. "First off, lets introduce. Im Rachel and this beautiful blondie is Amanda, and you know Emily." She smiled, as if they were friends. Were they? Is this how girls talked?
Amanda flustered, happy at the complement. She patted Rachel on the back, but didn't return her with another complement, which made Selena grow with amusement.
"Now," Emily got up and walked over to Lee, towering over the girl just a bit. Prehaps that was because after she left she quickly grabbed her four inch heels, since she hated being shorter than somebody else. She was the dominate girl. Nobody else could even dare be in her place. "We can either have a lovely time and be best friends, or we can just b***h eachother off and make your world misrable. What sounds better?" She leaned forward, mencingly. Lee just blinked, still confused.
"Uh, friends?" It was more of a question then anything else. Why was she giving her a choice? Didn't everyone say friends?
"Great!" Emilys hands suddenly clapped togther, which made Selena flinch. She smiled happily as if she had just won a million dollars. "Then all you need to do is listen and obey us. Like a...a...." she snapped her fingers as if it'd help her remember the word.
    "Servent?" Rachel offered.
"Yes! A servent," Emily agreed smiling over at Lee.
"Is that normal?" she asked curiously.
"Yeah. In some situations I guess it is," Amanda said flipping her head back, trying to make herself look graceful. "Like yours."
Selena shrugged, not really caring. "I guess if thats what you think, then I don't see the harm."
The other three girls suddenly focused on her, their grins twirking up into sly smiles. "Perfect." They murmured and for the first time in Selenas unnatural life, she felt like an idiot.
