• I sat there, alone in my room. With my face in a pillow. "Ugh! I have nothing to do!" I shout. I look around my bedroom. Pink walls, green bean-bag, laptop that is dead because mom won't give me the charger. I take my iPod out my pocket and change the song to Kings of Leons. Then I hear a knock on my door. "Honey, when I said you where grounded. That doesnt mean you can't go out of the house and have fun." She says loud enough for me to hear. I jump out of bed and run to the door as I want to escape this prison. I make it down stairs and shout, "Thanks Mom!" I then close the door behind me and start walking.
    By the time I get to the local park, I see my friends. "Ashley! Oh my god I thought you were grounded!" My friend Jen squeals. "I am but she let me lose for a little bit." I shrug. As Jen starts blabbing I notice a new guy haning out with us. "Who's that guy?" I whisper. Jen then shuts up and follows my eyes to where I am starring. "Him? He's Jake Brandy." I gaze at him for a while then he looks at me and flashes a smile. I just felt like I melted. I smile without even realizing and its like it's only me and him right now. His lushish baby blue eyes, his amazing golden brown hair. "Ashley? He-llo?ASHLEY!" I jump when she screamed at me. "WHAT?!" I yell back. "You can't have him. He already has a girlfriend." I freeze. Already has a girlfriend? I ask myself. He takes a quick glance at me and looks away. He can tell something is wrong. I then take my leave with this new piece of information.
