• i look out the window and see the bright blue sky, white fluffy clouds drifting ever so slowly through the the bright blue sky like currents in a calm river. all the colors seem to fade grayer and grayer each time i look at them. 5 years, 5 long repetitive years since i last saw you. i miss your deep brown eyes that only look at me, you black hair covered by the beanie you always wear. i miss your arms around me. it's slightly uncomfortable now a days with out your tender hugs. i always fidget with my hair and clothes in hope you will come see me in my lonely castle. you never came. i constantly stare at the sky you're staring at it too. if we're both looking at the sky, it doesn't feel so lonely. i know there is only one sky. that sky binds us together so we may never be apart. no matter how far you are from me, no matter the distance, the sky keeps us connected. i smiled in contentment. i looked up at the sky again, no longer blue. all i say was a gray sky and white clouds. my smile grew bigger. the sky may have no color, and i maybe alone. but you're still in my heart, and the sky still keeps us together.
