I never liked her; Ms. Hogwart. Shrivled up old prune. She had constantly told us of her dreams and asperations when she was a young little girl of becoming a star on Broadway. How the hipocritical producers couldn't take her because of her "supossedly" bad singing voice, "terrible" choreograpy, and "unatractive" bodyl When ever she told us these stories it usually was a way for her to get away from this world. When she was done with these she told us to give up on our dreams and then put on a song from a musical or opera she wanted to be in and sing along, synchronising her blender-like voice with the fine voice of the original star and dance around the class room.
tab This, my friends, was one of those days. For some reason she had put on a very dramatic opera with a woman singing the Italian lyrics. And today Ms. Hogwart was overdoing it, but we didn't care. We were using this time to text, talk, or do last minute homework that was due next period. But I was using this time to think about the day; I liked to do that and ignore my friends.
tab Ms. Hogwart was always bitter, and mean. We all know it's because of how her life turned oout: Teaching lame and boring English to loud and annoying children instead of entertaining hundreds of people with terrible performances. I don't blame her for being like that, but she sould probably take it out on the right people.
tab I looked at our teacher and asked myself how she could go from bitter to THAT? And she was smiling: something she never does to anyone, not even her top students! But I looked at her hands. She was clutching her left arm with her right hand. I was in confusion. What is going on?
tab She was still smiling and still dancing around, the opera was just reaching it's climax when more people began to notice. Still dancing, still smiling, joy on her face. The song was ending as Ms. Hogwart was falling, clutching her arm. Everything seemed to go in slow motion as our teacher fell. When she finally hit the ground, there was silence. All the rest of my classmates just stared at her motionless body, with open mouths and minds, dumbfounded.
tab When the ambulance got there they announced her dead on the scene. As they took her out they had some trouble with the front stairs and they dropped her body and there were a series of loud thuds. How tragic. As soon as the ambulance left everybody went back inside the school and went on about as if nothing had happened.
