• Once upon a time there was a country made of ice called Icecalia. Icecalia is surrounded by darkness and was freezing cold. But there, in this icy land was found a single glittering gem; her name was Princess Yuki. Yuki was loved by everyone, but she hated her life as a princess without freedom, like a bird trapped in a cage.


    On the day of her 14th birthday, which was also the day of the grand ball, Yuki disguised herself as one of the servants, and decided to escape that night. But on her way out, she ran into a count with soft silky blond hair and beautiful blue eyes. Yuki was very surprised and tries to get away from him, but suddenly, he turned very pale with glowing red eyes, but the most frightening was his long sharp teeth, and huge black wings. Yuki was very afraid, and before Yuki can decide what to do, he kidnapped her. They landed near a large mansion covered in darkness. The vampire lead Yuki to his room and apologized her and said that he didn’t want to cause any trouble. Yuki was surprised that he was actually very nice, and soon learned his name was William.


    Days in the vampire’s mansion was exciting and fun, William let Yuki stay at his house as a servant, but he still treated her kindly. Yuki got to know more about William, and soon, they fell in love with each other. But, little did Yuki know that a spy told Yuki’s father(the King) about her whereabouts. Happily and angrily, the King demanded 500,000 soldiers to conquer the vampire’s mansion.


    During midnight, Yuki heard many people shouting and saw out her window that people were fighting. Yuki notice that the one who were conquering them was her father’s men. When she saw that William was in danger, without thinking, she ran out to him and demanded them to stop, they looked at her, kneel down, and bow saying, “Please come back, Princess.” As William heard the fact that she was a princess, he was shocked and felt that he had lost everything. For the sake of William, Yuki decides to go back and told William to forget about her. William dropped on his knees and looked at his beloved women being taken away.


    Being back at home, Yuki did nothing but crying for a whole week, and began to get very sick. Her parents hired many doctors, but all of them said that they do not have a cure. Finally, a mage came and said the only cure was the erase her memories of William. The King and Queen agreed, not thinking how Yuki would feel. As the mage erase her memories, Yuki’s tear were sliding down her cheeks, as her eyes was still closed.


    Two year past since that day, and Yuki had never open her heart to anyone even though she had forgotten about William. Worried, the King decided to hold a gathering of nobleman on Yuki’s sixteenth birthday, so Yuki can pick a good husband. On the day of the meeting, there were many people. But, Yuki paid attention to only one of them. The boy who had familiar blond hair and blue eyes. Then unexpectedly, monsoon of tears flowed down Yuki’s cheek. She ran to him not knowing why, and with a feet away from him she whispered, “Willi... am”. She closed her eyes as she magically regained her memories back. When she reopen them, William kissed her while he hugged her.


    “I love you” he whispered. “I learned that I cannot live without you, will you marry me and be with me for ever?” “Yes!” cried Yuki as happiness tears fell from her eyes for the first time. Finally, William and Yuki got married and lived happily after ever. heart
