I opened my eyes. Loud screaming could be heard. “I’m dying...” I whispered. Then I heard a large explosion. This is the end of my life, I thought. But... boy, I was wrong!

    Chapter 1

“Hey!!!!Are you all right?” A soft hand stretched out towards me.
Dazed, I looked up to see who the person holding out their hand was and almost fainted. It was Hikaru, a famous singer in an awesome boy band!!!!!!
“NO WAY!! Aren’t you a famous singer or something??” I started to redden a little, as I definitely didn’t look good enough in my tattered uniform.
“Yeah, I'm a famous singer that got caught in the same train accident as you." He grinned at me.
A big gaggle of girls came running over to Hikaru and showered him with worries in the most annoying manner ever. One of the girls was my friend, Shania. She was blushing and screaming at the amazing celebrity standing in front of her. It was so surprising and great to see that lots of people in the train accident were still alive.

“Yo. You still haven’t taken my hand.” Hikaru looked at me. I grabbed onto his hand and stood up. ‘I’m actually okay! ,’I thought as I felt happiness at the fact that I survived the explosion so well. Surprisingly unshaken, I started to walk off, my hair bouncing on my broad shoulders as my navy and gold pleated skirt swayed from side to side. I was still wearing my school uniform, which was awkward, because it was now covered in dirt and soot.
“Where do you think you’re going??” He scowled at me like he was my dad or something.
"To find my mum and dad... I still have them both, unlike you.” I ran down the train, regretting the fact that I had uttered such rude words. Hikaru followed after me. Every 2 minutes, though, lots of people would cluster around him, asking for autographs. Those fans of his made him slow down for a long time.

‘Finally he’s cleared off!’ I smiled at the thought of Hikaru and his fans, stopping him from moving away with their crazy personalities and absurd ideas. Then I started to realise how dilapidated the train looked, as it was falling apart. There were tonnes of dead and scary-looking bodies in the lower part of the carriage and the colour of the train was a burnt black throughout the whole of it, making me feel uneasy. I crossed my fingers, hoping that my parents hadn’t gotten hurt within the incident.

Then I gasped. There were my parents, lying on the floor, right in front of me. Both of them were dead. It broke my heart to see the way they had died, as their hands were still linked together. Time seemed to feel still as I crouched to the ground and burst into noisy tears, feeling an impending feeling of sorrow and sadness for them. They were my only family…and now they had left me all alone.

CREEEAK! A piece of the train swayed to the side, not too far away from me. I got up to run back to the main part of the train, but it was too late. The large piece of metal then flew towards me; not seeming like it would stop at all. I was in danger! Suddenly, it landed onto the floor with a sharp thud and standing behind it was none other than Hikaru, giving me a mischievous smile, as he strolled forwards, an air of arrogance surrounding him.

“Thought you could leave me behind, huh?” He walked up to me and held onto my arm. (He’s a bit like a stalker...)
“Thanks for, um, saving me...” My voice was really quiet, as I just wanted to be left alone.
“Are they…” Hikaru’s face expression drooped. “Well, you’re just gonna have to live with me now…may your parents rest in peace.” I just glared at him.
“But I don’t wanna live with YOU, of all people. You’re famous and I'm extremely lame.” That word made me sigh a bit. Why was I so lame all of the time? I wondered.
“You aren’t lame at all! When I saw you, the first thing entering my mind was the fact that you are scorching hot.” He didn’t look the slightest bit as embarrassed as I was. I felt freaked by how he said those words without seeing the humiliating side of it.
“No. I never get shy or embarrassed. You shouldn’t, either.”
It was like he had read my mind. “You read my mind, you sucker! How dare you!” I then burst into tears. I slowly sat down, as the emotions of sadness overwhelmed me once again. It was definitely a tough day for poor little me…
“It’s okay...it’s okay. If you need to cry, then cry now.” Hikaru crouched beside me and stroked my hair, as if he understood the pain I was going through. ‘Maybe he does…’ I wondered.
“No it isn’t!! I have nobody to go to! I’m all alone now! There’s nowhere for me to hide....” My tears started to increase in size.
“HIDE??????” his eyes widened at me.
“I used to be a child actress for a bit, until...” I lied, not wanting to tell him the real reason why I said such a thing.
“UNTIL WHAT?!?” he was now staring intently at me, like he was interested in my story. His eyes were a sharp, sparkly emerald green, which seemed to glimmer every time he spoke.
“I lost the job of being an actress. It was my only key to fame and fortune!”(Lie no.2)
“YEAH, BUT WHAT EXACTLY HAPPENED TO MAKE YOU LOSE YOUR JOB??” Man, his voice was loud and very impatient.
“Because...I messed up the movie which made the company lose 1million dollars/pounds of their moneeyyyyy!! Now they wanna charge my parents for it but they’re dead!!!!” I bawled.
(I BLUFFED AGAIN. The real reason why I’m hiding is…)
Hikaru patted my head. “C’mon! You can come over to my house for a while. Then you can plan where you wanna stay.” His smile was rueful. He then started to stroll back to the safer part of the train.
“Thanks, Hikaru…for everything.” I wiped away my tears.
“Nah, thank yourself for being hot.” He then started to laugh.
“Stop! You’re making me blushhhhh!” It was true. He was making me blush.
“Grab my hand. You don’t want to get lost.”
“Sure. The girls are gonna be very envious of me, which is gonna rock!” I smirked.

And I was right. When the people on the train saw me holding his hand, they glared at me. Especially Shania, as her dream was to go out with Hikaru even though I told her that he was a super-famous celeb. She even made a club that was called ‘Kaoru’s girls<3<3’ (HOW SAD IS THATT??)
“Looks like you found a new friend. “Shania growled.
But I had no time to listen to Shania. I needed to get out of the train.
“Damn! The train’s doors are stuck together!” Hikaru sighed deeply.
“But w-we need t-t-to get out....” I started to get exceedingly anxious. Some mice started to scatter about (I absolutely hate mice).
“Huh?!???” He turned around to face me. “Why in such a hurry?”
    “MICE!” Shania started to whimper.
The police then opened the way out of the train. “Gerrout!” They yelled. When they realised that Hikaru was around, they immediately apologized to us for being so gruff. For some odd reason I thought that my life was starting to get the rich treatment, which made me rest a bit.
But my happiness ceased instantaneously once I saw the paps burst into the pale green train station.
“Get that boy!!!!!!” A tall man with a humongous 3D camera started racing towards us, with a whole load of other people trailing behind him.
“Let me deal with this!” Hikaru stood in front of me and stretched out his arms.
The paparazzi came to a halt, waiting for Hikaru to move.
“Who’s hiding behind you? Move out of our way!!” Someone screeched.
“Oh no, you don’t.” Hikaru’s voice had a final tone in it. But it didn’t work on them. They pushed him really hard.

It was too late for them though because as soon as they saw me, I was already scampering out of the station.
“How do you survive that?” I was amazed that the paps were that desperate for a scoop.
“I just make sure to be as boring as possible when they come around. But it never works.”
“Like hell it doesn’t work,” I snorted. “Only yesterday you were on the cover of the biggest newspaper companies in the world!!!”
“Yeah, yeah. Give me a break already. Hey, wait a sec...Is your hair blue??” His face was covered in shock.
“Don’t try to tick me off, Hikaru. My parents just died. Also you have no right to say that, as your hair is SILVER.”
Then all of a sudden, the paparazzi came sprinting towards us.
Then Hikaru made the biggest mistake ever. He tripped on the pavement, which made me fall over too as he was holding my hand.
“Oh crap, Hikaru. That hurt.” I sighed.
“Soz. We’re going to be in the newspapers tomorrow.” Hikaru took a deep breath.
“Wow. My life gets even better, huh?”
“Why are you so sarcastic?” Hikaru finally stood up and dusted himself.
Suddenly, my eyes started to water.
“And why are you crying? Man, I don’t get you.” He turned to face me.
“Just shut up and leave.” I murmured through gritted teeth. “I’ve had enough of you.”
“EXCUSE ME??? After all I’ve done for you? Someone needs to teach you some respect.” He yelled.
“I NEVER ASKED FOR YOUR HELP, ANYWAY!!!!!” I shot back unintentionally.

“I don’t know why I ever thought we could be friends. I’m so stupid.” Hikaru then balled up his fists and strolled away from the park.

I stood there, watching after him as he huffed away, just to realise that now I had nowhere to go.......and then the most stupid thought struck me. ‘Damn! I forgot to tell him my name!’ I realised, about a really long 5 hours after.

The sky started pouring down with tons of rain. I trudged my way slowly to a rickety hostel. It stank of out-of-date food and rotting meat.
“Hi.” I mumbled. “Can I stay here overnight?”
A freaky old man sitting behind a disgustingly messy desk raised his head.
“Okay. Pay up £1,500.” He gave me a wry smile, knowing that I couldn’t afford it. “Or you could pay me back another way…”

I shuddered all over. From that very moment, I realised how dumb it was of me to shout at Hikaru. Now there was NO chance of my life becoming normal and happy ever again.
“NO!!!!!! How dare you!” I cried, speeding out of the hostel and far, far away……

I kept on running for a long, long time. But somehow, I was so scared that I didn’t feel tired. Suddenly, a group of men and a lady started to chase after me. The road ahead had a dead end. I was TRAPPED!!!
“We got her. She’s VERY valuable! She is definitely an A*563448!” One man yelled.
“Great! Her powers can be used for almost anything!” Another seemed happy.
“That’s great! We’ll be rich and upgraded to dons!” A lady gave an ear-splitting cackle.

I gasped. How did they know that I was magic?! The idea of me being used as a weapon for their twisted organization didn’t seem fun.

Swoosh! The 3 evil people rushed to me with humongous death pedal guns. I braced myself for their attacks. Tonnes of large bullets went flying towards my face at an intense speed, with oozing red venom coated around them.
“Defence parallel!” I screamed. A large white barrier surrounded me, blocking off all of the bullets.
“Nice to know that you’re still very powerful, Kiki.” The lady glared at me with a fierce fire in her eyes. “It means you’re still worth quite a bit of cash. We knew that we’d have to kill your parents, though, or we wouldn’t be able to even scrape you.”

THEY CAUSED THE TRAIN CRASH????!!! This caused my mind to go into panic overdrive. They knew that if my parents were dead, nobody else would be brave enough to take care of me. All the more to feel idiotic for blowing off Hikaru…. I sighed, deeply regretting my actions.
“But no-one knows about my magic! Not even my friends or parents knew!!” I felt numb to the bone.
“We enjoyed killing all of your relatives, anyway! It was fun!” She answered coldly.
A wave of pain shot right through me, so I looked down to see what was there.
An ugly red sword had somehow gone through my stomach. I quickly pulled and tugged at it to get it out so that I couldn’t die, but it wouldn’t budge.
“!” A silver light shot into the sword, sending it flying away. I looked at my stomach, relieved. The sword hadn’t caused any hurt to me at all!

I brushed myself off and got up onto my feet. The evil people stepped back slowly.
“Bye!” I flashed them a warm smile and sent a mountain of electricity towards them. The force of the attack was so strong; it sent them flying far away. Then my eyes fell shut and I fell into a deep, deep sleep.

Chirp! Chirp! The morning birds sung softly. My eyes fluttered open as the sun soared high into the sky.
“You look beat up.” A familiar voice chuckled. I lifted my eyes. Standing above me was a boy with silver hair and green eyes. Hikaru.
“What!!!??? You actually looked for me despite what I said? Hikaruuuu!!!!” The words came hurtling out of my mouth.
“Yeah, I came. Whoa, what happened to you yesterday?” He smiled at me. “You got chased down or something?”
“Point♫Exactly! An organization was hunting me down for my powers.” I hurriedly covered my mouth after I recognised what I had just blurted. But it was too late.
“Powers….I knew it! A girl with light blue hair is furthest thing away from being normal!” He clenched his fist. “But then what you told me about being a child actress earlier must’ve been a lie…”
“Sorry. But no living person is supposed to know my secret. It seems like too much bad people know about it already, so I wanted to keep it away from you so you wouldn’t get targeted, too.”
Hikaru shook his head roughly, as a wide, fresh grin spread across his face, the sun illuminating his already pearly white teeth. “You are such an idiot! I’m not afraid of ANYTHING!”
    To be continued!!!
