• "Wake up!"Amanda woke up as soon as she heard someone yell right in her ear."What!Aaahhhhh!Is their a fire!?Aaahhhh!Hellllppppp me!"Yelled Amanda as she panicked looking around."Relax Amanda.It's just me.You need to get ready for school or you'r going to be late."Said her mother."Mmmmoooommmmm!"Said Amanda.She had thought it was an emergancy but really to her it was a false alarm.Amanda packed her stuff,put on her clothes,brushed her teeth,and went into the living room."Bye mom!"Yelled Amanda opening the door so she could go to school."Amanda!Stay here!You havn't ate yet!I'm not going to let you go to schoool without eating any breakfeast!"Screamed her mom in a hurry."Nah i'm gonna be fine mom!Bye!"Said Amanda as she headed out the door.
    She walked cross the street to get to school.She looked both ways then crossed then someone sped up and almost ran over her."What the heck!Stupied!Watch where you'r going you ediet!"Yelled Amanda as she ran.The driver just looked at her like she was crazy and that she was supose to watch out where she was going.It was going to be Amanda's first day in secound grade.She was kinda shy and was also wondering if she was going to make any friends or not.As she walked closer and closer to the school she worried more and more.She started to speak to herself a little cause she couldn't really keep it in.As soon as she finally entered the school she walked around a little then heared the bell rang.She walked to her room 601 and stayed in line.She interdused herself to a few peole and they thought she was crazy.She walked sadly to the end of the line.She saw a girl running up to the line."Hi,My name is Maritza!"Said the girl who had came."hi."Amanda said back shyly.Amanda knew right away that that was gonna be her new bffl forever.
    As they entered the class Amanda noticed how she was sitting next to Maritza.A few months later during math class Amanda had trouble with a math problem so she asked Maritza for help.Then Amanda was so safe with Maritza that she made a poem.

    I feel so safe with you.I only do want you.Our faith if forever but death is never.I will always rember you.I will never forget you.
    Maritza loved the poem so much that she brought Amanda to a hiding place at the school and asked her"Amanda,would you like to be my bffl?You have showed me that i can fully trust you."Amanda's heart grew big and loved and Amanda said yes.
    Maritza and Amanda spent second and third grade together but at the end of third grade they had gotten worried and started to wonder if they would see each other again.Then forth grade came Amanda went to her class and found out that they were not in the same room.Amanda's heart grew samll and useless.Untill Amanda went to Resses.She was walkin down the hall with her head lunged down of sadness.Then Amanda felt a tap on her shoulder.Amanda turned around and saw nothin.Her head lunged down again and she walked a few steps.Then she felt another tap on her shoulder.Amanda turned around again and surprisly saw Maritza.They huged and got so excited.It was a wonderfull day for them.They loved how now they knew they could still see each other.
    Finally Maritza and Amanda went around and had found trouble."Well,well,well.Well if it isn't the tiger topers."Said a boy named Oscar.Now i knew Oscar was nothing but trouble."Let us go!"Said Maritza.I wanted to say somthing bad to them so they could just leave us alone.The other boy members came by and said"Hey Oscar need any help with betting these girls up."I looked around us more and more boys surrounded us.Maritza wasn't gonna just stand there and be pushed around so Oscar and Maritza met each pother eye to eye.Then they attacked.I watched as i was scared.Do i jump in and help Maritza but get a red ticket and get dealed with my parents and me getting kicked out!?Or did i have to see Maritza get hurt?"Look out Maritza!"I yelled as Oscar was going to kick her.Maritza truned back and did a frount flip.She dogged him but Oscar's brother Ray pulled her hair very badly.I knew this was serouis so i went up to the yardduddy and told her her started a fight.Maritza almost got in trouble cause she was taking the blame.The boy gang said it was her fault.I stepped in frount of Maritza and said"Ms.Carlos trust me Maritza was only trying to protect herself please belive me!You could ask a million people and they would all say that i'm telling the truth!Please Ms.Carlos!Please!"Ms.Carlos loked at the floor for a moment and said"I belive you Amanda.And as for you."she said pointing to the boys."I need to have a little talk with you boys."She headed them to the princabls office.Me and Maritza just walked around.But we made sure we were not close to any boys.
    At the end of the school year we had olympic festival.Of corse me and Maritza spent it together but when me and Maritza were running around the school somthing very horrible happened to maritza.All of a sudden Maritza fell over a hudge rock and scraped almost all her skin on her kne."Maritza!Are you ok!?"I yelled with water in my eyes."I dont think so."Said Maritza crying."Maritza!Ohhhh Maritza!"I said worried.But the good thing was that a lady was right there so she could give people water but what she did was come up to Maritza and helped her.I helped her too.She limped to the nurses office and stayed there for about an hour.Now where was i you might ask?I was waiting right outside the nurses office waiting for her.Yea so what if i could of had gone and ran some more laps or walk around looking at the booths.She was a magnifacent friend and she needed help.It's about time i helped Maritza.Then an hour later she came out.I stood up and said "Maritza!You'r ok!"I hugged her and she hugged me back."You waited for me here all this time!?" "Yes."i said proudly."Amanda you waited for me here and you helped me from getting my butt kicked when i was with Oscar!Amanda,you are a wonderfull friend!"She said hugging me again."Maritza,to tell you the truth,it was the least i could do."
    At the end of the school year me and Maritza saw each other after school we both hugged and had water in our eyes.We were both gonna miss each other very much.We kinda knew that we were gonna see each other next year in fifth grade since we saw each other this year.But the only thing i was really worried about was if i was even gonna make it to fifth grade.I was also kinda afraid if i was gonna be in the seven hundreds and she was gonna be in the eight hundreds.But all i knew was she was gonna make it to fifth grade.
    The next year when they were in Fifth of corse you knew they saw each other.They were happyer then ever of corse.But in the middle of fifth grade at lunch when Amanda and Maritza were eating lunch the worst thing that could every happened acurred."Amanda..."Said Maritza sadly with water in her eyes."When you'r in sixth grade..."Then she stoped."Yes?"I said a little confused.She sighed."When you'r in sixth grade...I will not be at this school..."Water grew im my eyes."Maritza?"I said weakly with water in my eyes."How come?"I said again even weaker."My parents found a house for 500,000 dollars and they want to get it.It is days,maybe even weeks away from here." "Maritza?"I said weakly.She looked up at me in the eyes with tears in her eyes"I cant live without you Maritza"I said weakly.Maritza looked up at me with water in her eyes.
    In sixth grade Amanda went up to her sixth grade class."Good moring miss."Said the teacher.Amanda looked up at the teacher."Good morning.Do you have a maritza in your class?"Amanda replied."Hmmm the one who was in Mrs.Ortiz's class last year?"He said."Yes,her." "Ehhh nope.She dosn't go to this school anymore."Amanda stood still.She wanted to burst out.What did he say?She thought.Am i dreaming?She wanted to kill herself.That night at her home.She cried all night.Her mom heard her so she came in."Honey?Are you alright?"Her mother said as she entered and sat next to Amanda.Amanda looked up at her mother."Maritza dosn't go to my school anymore."Amanda replied sadly looking down at nothing."Ohh...."Said her mother as she left the room sadly."Maritza....wherever you are....bring me with you.It dosn't matter where...as long as i'm with you....if I go to court in the future...and the lord ask me what i did with my life....i would say...that i spent it with you.
