Selfish little humming bird,
stealing heart's from tree to tree.
Open your mind and clear your eyes,
see what should be seen.

As long as you just take everything
and taint your very soul.
Selfish little humming bird,
never again should you be free.

Lock you up inside a cage,
chain your leg and cut your wings.
Covered windows, a closed door.
Endless silence feels so cold.

Open your mind and clear your eyes.
See what it is that you should see.
Or else! My selfish little humming bird,
...never again will you be set free.
