They left her in a padded room. Locked her up, all alone, in her white room with its padded corners.
Oh the words she longed to say, if only she could speak. Her lips, she could part, but never did they make a sound.
So she wrote it on the walls, those words she yearned to scream. Anywhere that could be seen. But when they came all they could see was her. All they could do was stare. All they did was stare. Stare at her with pity in their eyes, as she sat in her corner and cried while her words went unnoticed. While she went untouched and ignored.
And she cried until even her tears abandoned her. Leaving her alone to shed tears of her own blood, but soon they ran out too. And she died there in her padded room emptied and alone while the walls screamed with her plea.
"Please Just Love Me!"
But would never be heard.
