If he comes back here
looking for me, here in the office
tell him I've gone home to the country
to the trees and grass
and to living human beings,
not mindless robots that don't feel.
Tell him I said no to his offer
He'll know what I mean
And if he doesn't.....well
I'll be long gone anyway
He won't be able to find me.
So if he comes looking
tell him I'm gone
and I'm never coming back
tell him not to look for me
I never want to see him again
If he asks why
tell him to ask his mistress
she'll tell him why
just like she told me about them
so if he comes by
tell him I've gone home
and I'm never coming back.

- The pure quality has more a lyric base, than a poem. A poems substance revolves around the thought and feeling the author pours unto it. In other word, I don't like it at all.

- Well, this poem is clearer than most of the entries I've seen so far. Still, I think it could have had a little more time spent on the wording and lyrical qualities.
