• She's gone

    The wind howled,

    The glass shook.

    The trees creaked,

    But oh look.

    Her skin's gone pale,

    Yet her wrists so red.

Her hair in a pony tail,

On the side of her head.

    She was fading away,

    Trying to hide,

    Get away from him,

    Because the way he lied.

    He said he loved her,

    She thought it true.

    She said "I love you,"

    If she only knew.

If she knew her words would cause her own pain,

If she knew her words would make her insane.

    Maybe she'd still be here,

Where her friends could help and stay near.

They tried to help her before this,

But now she's in a numb bliss.

She left them with a note that said,

I guess I'll love him even when I'm dead.

He read the note finally realizing his mistake,

He took advantage of something that wasn't his to take.

Sure she gave him her heart,

Yet she didn't expect him to tear it apart.

She's gone now, in peace that he knows,

It was him that made her scars truly show.

Sure she loved him and gave so much,

But he made her cry without his touch.

    She's happy now,

    This he knows.

    Her love for him,

    Never again shall grow.
