• No Walls

    There once was a very mischevious boy,
    who loved to anger and destroy,
    but one day his world turned upside down,
    and misery crept in from all around.

    In his attempt to make it all go away,
    he started building up a mighty wall day by day
    until it was all just another big cliché.

    Fate had other plans for him it seemed,
    because a girl appeared with a smile that beamed.
    He took a chance and let her in,
    and soon the walls dissolved from within.
    Very quickly the boy had lost his walls,
    beyond repair in no sight at all.

    The boy had just found a dead end,
    when he decided to journey to his close friend,
    only to find another big wall in his face again.

    Try and try as he might,
    Her walls would not go down no matter what the fight.

    It killed him inside to see others let in,
    while he stood like a fool with a stupid grin.
    He thought of quitting and turning around,
    however for some strange reason he just sat on the ground.

    And to this day you can see him waiting,
    waiting for those walls to come down grating.
    Who knows? Maybe the walls will never go away,
    but forever in that spot he shall stay.

    Never moving; not tomorrow or today.
