• She laid there sleeping,
    curled up in a ball.
    Silently weeping,
    as that wasn’t all.

    Cut and Bruised
    from an iron fist.
    He kept his amused.
    That’s not the gist.

    Touched and scorn
    from her step dad.
    A secretive morn
    He liked what he had.

    Her mother didn’t believe
    What her daughter had said
    Step dad was in relieve
Mom just sent her to bed.

    Alone at night
    First in awhile
    Shaking with fright
    Already walked a mile

    She rubbed her stomach
    Her heart all torn
    It wasn’t a trick
    Something soon to be born

    On her way
To the home of her best friend
    It wasn’t that far away
From where her ‘dad’ made amends

    Tears rolled down her face.
    Not wanting to go back,
    to that horrid place,
for she would get an attack.

    Her eyes began to close.
    Her body fell.
    She began to doze
    dreaming of that hell.

    Hours passed.
    She awoke
    from the cast,
    yet began to choke.

    She knew where she was,
    all tied up.
    Her mind in a buzz,
    and back in the dump.

    He walked in
    And gave a smile
    It’s all a sin
    This was her last trial.

    He came closer.
She tried to kick and pull.
    He soon stood over her
She felt like an over used fool.

    He pinned her down
    The both were stripped.
    She just gave a frown.
    Her heart all ripped.

    It happened again.
    He abused and raped.
    She wanted no more pain
    Her life all taped.

    She couldn’t take it.
    She wanted to be free.
    Enough of the s**t
    No more to see.

    So that night
    It was set
    No more fright
    Death was to be met.

    Alone again
    In her room
    Just a little more pain
    Soon her doom.

    She brought a knife
    To her heart
    No more strife
    Life already torn apart.

    She jabbed it in
    Time for the end
    Holding her stomach
    Time began to bend.

    “Baby… we’re free…”
    She smiled
    Closely she held her knee
    as the phone dialed.

    “Hello?”
    She laid down her head.
    “Anyone there? Hello?”
    “Good bye momma…. I’m dead.”
