So excited, a girl dresses herself in the perfect oufit
She is beautiful

Room is full of people, she hears great music
The dance is great until the slow song starts
Wandering, mindlessly through the crowd, looking for someone,
She hopes someone will ask her to dance

Dodging couples dancing back and forth
despair and loneliness eats at her chest
"Dosen't anyone want to dance with me?"
She stands to the side, crying in her heart

interesting.... it does show the depth of a prom in a girls point of veiw, though very simply. i would suggest lengthen them. and i amgiving stars and iam giving you a 4.
