Ah, gentle music,
How I long to hear your psalm
My treasure of light
I’ll play for my heart
Through the harsh practice I learn
Your music steals me
The violin tone
Oh! Such sweet sound to my ears
I play for me now

Description:
The stanza are written in Haiku form (5/7/5 syllables). This was written around 2001-2002 for class in high school.
EDIT: I edited the 3rd line, 1st Stanza and 2nd line, 3rd Stanza! This should make it a proper haiku now. - Date: 07/18/2008

There's extra syllables? O my, I guess I need to re-edit this sometime.
I played violin since I was in 4th grade. That was roughly 14 years ago. - Report As Spam

- That's pretty awesome! but, in the first stanza, the last line has one extra syllable, and in the 2nd line in the last stanza has one less syllable... other than that, i think its pretty awesome! 4/5
