With all of my energy, I never sat still
So the doctors decided to give me a pill
It made me too quiet, a girl needs to play
Not liking this pill, mommy threw it away
As i grew older, i really got wild
People would ask mommy, how do you live with that child?
I have a condition that lives in my brain,
It makes me different, we all feel the strain
Someday i'll outgrow them, all of these pains
my future is bright and free of those chains
i have a disorder called ADHD
its what i have and it doesnt bother me.

- I myself have ADHD. If you learn to control it, you don't need the pill. Good poem, I love it.

- My younger brother has ADHD. He never let it overtake him. Never dwell upon what's WRONG... Just find the solution and go for it. Everyone has problems. And the effects you recieved from those pills are the same effects i had recieved from taking anti-depressants as perscribed to me. Occupy yourself more often...sometimes it is mind over matter.

I'm sorry, but you can't really 'realize' you have ADHD. There's no ADHD closet to emerge glorioiusly from. It has to be carefully diganosed symptom-by-symptom by a psychiatrist. I would know, I'm a psychology student.
Good poem, though. <3 - Report As Spam
