• My solitude is my salvation
Away from he who calls me slave
For seven years I’m sent to wander
To do his will no matter how depraved

But I will not become corrupted
I will not take joy in sin
Even though my soul be stolen
In the end ‘tis I who’ll win

I left you for long life in darkness
For which I was destined when I was born
For the light I once held so dear
From my breast a sob is torn

I love you now as will I ever
A shadowed soul that cannot die
If death comes to you than I will never
Love again. With you I’ll lie

This icy room which is my prison
In the mirror I can see
A blackened demon in soulless torment
Someone who I would not be

The Hero with his sword at ready
Bursts into my prison with a roar
Compelled to fight…to end his life!
My purpose calling me to the floor

But if I end a life so precious
Truly a demon would I be
For if I kill this timeless Hero
The darkness wins. Who wins is He

I say farewell to you my princess
I will not live another day
But as a spirit I will haunt thee
As long as you will let me stay

    The sword dives in
    Into my flesh
The pain runs through my sin stained heart
In this drama through the ages
I know that I have done my part

    My soul flies to you
    My earthly troubles done
In the end of all my torment
I know, finally, I have won
