Your brightness is corrosive
To the depression on the surface.

Your brightness is toxic
To the frustration in my lungs.

Your brightness is explosive
To the hatred in my mind.

Your brightness is threatening
To everything bi-polar.

Your brightness is injected
To my blood thats in rage.

Your brightness is horrifying
To what was once my anguish.

Your brightness is defying
To my argues in defeat.

Your brightness is breaking
To the bones of my saddness.

Please don't go away,
I never meant to cloud the day...

Gets repetitive halfway through. Make the poem tighter. More imagery.

What is this brightness you talk about? Is it scorching like the flames of the sun, or feeble like the last moments of a crackling campfire?
