• Lost and never found,

Between the ruins of those around.

    And though there,

I never was more than a blank stare.

    Stuck in direction,

    A blow to the heart,

    With no deflection.

I wonder why it is so,

Shattered to pieces yet can't go.

Put back together yet still bleeding,

Anger set aside and still breeding,

It eats away at the soul,

    Ripping apart and swallowing whole,

    That which you are,

Leaving upon the chest a single scar.

    Depression and agony,

Left here wishing for the life I'd never see.

    Cold steel against the wrist,

Feels almost as good as the first kiss.

    A slice to the skin,

    Destroyed, I could not win.
