    Recently the flower has wilted

    I forgot about the memories
    I let anger fog my mind
    I gaze to you for forgiveness
    To toss this problem behind

    This clouded fog of confusion
    Tilted my strength to trust
    You and your loving-kindness

    When I walked by you
    Just a day or two ago
    I smiled at you
    But a smile nor glance did you show

    I ask a simple thing in return
    But it isn't a burden to bear

    There are many different people out there

    Day by day I've waited for you

    Looking at these pictures of you
    Made me all the more sad

    Friendship was a gift you give yourself
    Or so I was told
    But I more so believe that
    Friendship is the future we hold

    To stay by one's side
    By dusk or constant fear
    I can always be happy
    As long as you are near
