I have a little game I play
As I walk down the street.
I look at all the faces
Of the people that I meet.
I imagine there's a mirror
With their face instead of mine,
And I am in their body,
And I'm feeling rather fine.
And if I looked in the mirror
Every day upon that face,
Would I think that they were ugly?
Would I hate them for their race?
And if I were walking down the street
And I met up with me,
Would I notice this one person?
And, if yes, what would I see?
Because everybody's beautiful
In their own special way,
And we all look in the mirror
Each and every single day.
And if you just see the colour,
If you just see the skin,
You will never see the person
Who is beautiful within.

Very lovely poem.
This is a very good example of people who think their not good enough and they end up comparing themselves to others.
Thank you for your poem. :]
